Grandpa glared fiercely at Arabella Vanderbilt, so angry that he couldn't catch his breath.
"It seems you are truly stubborn."
Arabella Vanderbilt smirked, "Stubborn is a word more fitting for you."
"If you insist on this, don't blame me for leaving Joel no room!"
Arabella Vanderbilt sighed helplessly, "That's unfortunate, Grandpa. Our conversation today is meaningless. I've made my efforts to reconcile, and since this is the case, I'll take my leave. Take care."
With that, she turned and headed towards the door of the study.
However, before she reached the door, there was a knock, and Nanny Richardson's voice came from outside.
"Grandpa, Miss Selvia is here."
Arabella Vanderbilt raised her eyebrows slightly; what a coincidence.
"Let her in!" Grandpa said grimly, needing someone to diffuse his anger after being upset by Arabella Vanderbilt.
