As soon as Arabella Vanderbilt walked out of the meeting room, she suddenly stopped, her flat boots tapping the floor a few times before she turned to look at the man following her.
Benjamin Copeland was quick to react, seeing Arabella's movement, instinctively turning around as well, only to find a closed meeting room door behind him.
"President Copeland!"
Arabella called out to him a bit speechlessly, and only then did Benjamin turn back, looking at Arabella's calm and indifferent face, he smiled.
"Do you have something to discuss, Miss Vanderbilt?"
Arabella pressed her lips together, "Don't make a move on Todd Corporation for now, lower it to the minimum first."
Benjamin raised an eyebrow, "Didn't you just say not to?"
"Am I an idiot? Why would I leave such a big piece of juicy meat untouched?"
This sentence carried a hint of temper, leaving Benjamin momentarily stunned.
After a moment, he chuckled softly, "I didn't expect you to still be like this, Miss Vanderbilt."
