Mario Yuno stayed at the company headquarters, surrounded by a dozen people, all of whom were staring intently at Aka's email inbox.
These people were all volunteering overtime for Kiara, and everyone had decided to take turns resting to ensure there were enough hands on deck for the investigation. Busy with work during the day and helping with the search at night, the massive workload didn't elicit a single complaint from the team, because Mario himself had gone several days without rest, waiting for a reply.
He had previously waited at Aka's place, but after half a day with no results, he returned to the company headquarters to track people's exit records while still keeping an eye on the email.
"There's a reply!"
This exclamation invigorated everyone, and Mario rushed over immediately.
Molly Palmer replied to Aka, but the content left everyone disheartened.
"What's this, it's completely meaningless," Zenith Kyan pounded the table, utterly disappointed.
