Nicole's voice was sharp, and from her tone, you could tell she was very angry.
Earlier, she had planned to first get engaged to Deano Zell, because although her father liked him as a person, he had some distaste for the Zell Family's past. He didn't want his daughter to step into the family and get entangled.
After weighing the situation, he decided to let them get engaged first, and then observe for a while.
Nicole agreed as well. She was very busy at the hospital with surgeries to perform daily and couldn't spare any time.
