Scarlett Glenn asked bewilderedly, "Uncle, why?"
Dylan Young wanted to say that this brat, at such a young age, already had impure intentions and certainly wasn't anything good. But he worried that even if he told Scarlett now, she might not understand. Besides, saying these things to her seemed premature.
So he simply said, "Don't play with him; that brat will bully you."
"But he didn't bully me. He even said that after we get to school, he'll protect me."
Upon hearing this, Dylan Young's brow furrowed tightly, "When did he say that?"
How could he not know when Oliver Johnston said these things, and why didn't Scarlett tell him?
Dylan Young was already upset with Charles Johnston earlier, and hearing Scarlett say this made him even more furious. This brat, at such a young age, was already so good at sweet-talking and deceiving young ladies. When he grows up, it would be unimaginable.
