"I got it, big brother. Don't you think this kid is a little different from other kids?" The man called Big Head asked the tall man.
"Maybe he's just scared stiff. Don't worry about it. He's so small, what could he possibly do? If he tries to run, we'd catch up to him in a few steps. Kids like him aren't any different. Stop overthinking it. Hurry up and get him something to eat. Poor kid held out until now before saying he was hungry." The tall man glanced at Yu Ze. For someone so little to last this long, he really had some backbone.
What they didn't know was that Yu Ze came from a family of military descendants. Had they known, they might've thought twice about their actions.
"Hey, kid, here's something to eat." Big Head handed a piece of flatbread to Yu Ze.
"Thank you, Uncle." Yu Ze wasn't picky about food at the moment. Anything to fill his stomach was good enough. Even if the flatbread was a bit hard, he had to eat it, otherwise, he'd have no strength left.
