"Got it, I'm coming right away." Ye Zishu put her luggage aside and quickly checked out a few rooms. She found one was a study, two were occupied, and since Ye Li went into one of them, there was only one left for her. She didn't really have a choice, did she? And to think Ye Li had just told her to pick whichever room she wanted! How could she choose if no one told her?
But this was fine too; Ye Zishu wasn't picky about where she slept. Even if she felt a bit out of place in a new spot, it didn't matter — she'd fall asleep just the same when she was exhausted.
That's one of Ye Zishu's strengths, you couldn't find fault with it. Her adaptability was impressive, a useful trait for traveling on business trips.
Ye Li looked at this room, wondering how many years it had been since he last stayed here. It really didn't feel like home at all.
He sighed, roughly settled his things, and without even changing his clothes, went straight out of the room.
