"Alright then, let's go." Chu Molin didn't stand on ceremony with Ye Xiao, if there's a ride, it's best to take it.
"Sure, why are you still here so late today?" Ye Xiao asked Chu Molin while sitting in the car.
"I just had a complex research project to work out. Once I figured it out, I wanted to finish it before leaving. It's no big deal, it didn't take that much extra time," Chu Molin said nonchalantly. When work is done, everything feels better, so nothing really bothers him.
"That's true, but staying too late isn't good either." Ye Xiao thought if he were staying at the research institute, it wouldn't be a problem, but with him heading home, he shouldn't be returning in the dark. Safety is a priority, as everyone says, and everything else is secondary. Safety is truly paramount; if something happens to someone, nothing else matters.
