"Where's the bowl?"
Shen Qingju's loud voice brought Shen Qinglan back to reality.
Shen Qingzhu's neck shrank and he said guiltily, "I forgot!"

Just after lunch, Shen Qinglan saw her mother carrying a chicken and she seemed to be prepared to go out.
When Dong Yao saw her looking at her, she said with a smile, "I'm going to your eldest aunt's house. This chicken is for your nephew. Do you want to go with me?"
After Shen Qinglan thought for a moment , she suddenly asked, "Has anyone in Eldest Uncle's family gone to school?"
"Your eldest cousin did go for two years, but stopped going because of your sister-in-law."
"What's wrong with her?" Shen Qinglan asked curiously.
She had no choice. The fool's memory was almost blank, so she didn't know what had happened to the eldest sister-in-law.
Dong Yao said, "Not long after your sister-in-law married into the family, she fell seriously ill. At that time, it was farming season and there was no one at home. Your cousin couldn't handle things all by herself, so in order to take care of your aunt, your eldest cousin dropped out of school. After that, your nephew came along, so he didn't go back to school."

Her third uncle hadn't remarried for many years because of her deceased third aunt, and her eldest cousin brother had dropped out of school because of his eldest sister-in-law.
She really did not expect the Shen family to be so sentimental!

Dong Yao froze for a moment before reacting and asking, "Where are yo going?"
"To my eldest uncle's house."

Eldest Uncle's house was quite far away, and it would take at least fifteen minutes to walk there.
