Fabros warily stared at Cedric.
His posture was taut, armed to respond to any hostile movement in a heartbeat, all while he's helping the rest of his teammates regain their freedom.
Cedric didn't do anything. He just stood still and allowed all of this to happen. He's neither burdened nor concerned. If anything, it would seem that he's even looking forward to it.
Obviously, Fabros knew this. The idea hurts, but it's the truth he had to live in. He didn't like the possibility of gaining some cheap victory, but if it's the only way out, he'd take it.
Soon, the rest of his teammates were freed. His actions didn't go over their heads; the first thing they did was to thank him, and then they stood with him against Cedric.
Now, the top 10 was back in action. No longer restrained to their helpless and miserable end. Victory was still nowhere near their sights, but there's nothing else they could do other than to fight for it, no matter how bleak it might seem.
