Everything was in order. Every bug was diligently doing their tasks to keep things going in the realm. Most of them aren't very smart, sure, but they make do. What they lacked in intelligence, they made up for with sheer relentless effort and a single-minded determination to do what they must.
They don't have a concept of boredom; repetition doesn't concern them at all. If anything, they seem to thrive from it.
As for the ones sitting at the throne, ruling over all the bugs in this realm, life for them had been monotonous so far.
