Central Heaven North Pole Emperor Ziwei, holding sway over the celestial latitudes and longitudes, known as the Ancestor Master of Ten Thousand Stars, Master of the Stars, the venerated one among the host of stars.
But now, even as the one seated in the Imperial Honors, Vice Lord of the Heavenly Court, Emperor Ziwei is only titularly known as the sovereign ruler of all stars. Some powerful Star Lords and Star Gods govern themselves, obey deployment but not proclamation, and some even disregard the orders outright, treating them with complete indifference.
Thus, to some extent, the situation Emperor Ziwei faces among the host of stars and gods is no different from that of the Jade Emperor, and this is why, having reached this step, Emperor Ziwei has cause to strike back.
No one wishes to be a puppet in name only, not the Jade Emperor, and not Emperor Ziwei, either. Both are trying everything they can to seize back their authority.
