Amon's wild laughter echoed as Rod felt the space twisting around him, the pressure on his body growing increasingly intense. This Abyss Fragment seemed to be curling and compressing, pressing all its force upon him.
"I understand now!"
In the Dream Realm, Asa suddenly shouted.
"Amon is using the power of the Abyss against us! He has become the Abyss! This Abyss Fragment is Amon's true form!"
Rod was stunned by Asa's words: "What did you say? Amon became an Abyss?"
"It's the Abyss Fragment!" Asa corrected: "This fragment that has fallen from the outer layers of the Abyss derivations!"
Rod found it hard to imagine: "How was this done? Can a person become the very space itself?"
"Master." Asa explained: "Amon is not human, he is merely a consciousness, an obsession, a thread of hatred, hence he cannot be destroyed. This is Ancient Evil Thought, and the Abyss itself is a vast collection of dark will, forming a special space through complex changes."
