[The Female Demon Servant, Jirihi]
In such a short sentence, Kamiyagawa discovered three key points of suspicion.
First, the identity of Jirihi; he now has reason to suspect that she might be the long-hidden Ibaraki-dōji.
Secondly, if Jirihi truly is the infamous Ghost of Rashomon, then her coming to his side is certainly not genuinely for "serving".
Kamiyagawa was unsure if he had exposed something; or was this some kind of test, with Ibaraki-dōji wanting to approach him closely to personally inspect.
It's temporarily unclear what exactly the Ghost Tribe is plotting.
And the final point of suspicion is... "Female Demon".
That's right.
Jirihi might not be Jirihi, and might not truly be coming to serve him.
It's even possible that she isn't a female demon at all!
In the legends of Mount Oe and the stories of the "Ghost of Rashomon", the gender of Ibaraki-dōji has always been ambiguous, and the image very diverse.
