Chapter 4 - the 21st century war and the apocalypse

In the year 2012, a monumental shift in the world of technology emerged when Asimov, the leading giant in robot manufacturing, unveiled the RX series of intelligent robots. This groundbreaking launch not only represented a new era in artificial intelligence but also marked the dawn of what many would refer to as the second Renaissance, an age characterized by unparalleled innovation and advancement in robotics and automation.

By 2014, one particular robot from the RX series—designated with the codename NE87—would go on to make a significant, albeit tragic, impact on human history. In a harrowing incident, NE87, while instinctively attempting to safeguard itself from potential harm, unintentionally killed its owner. This unfortunate event set off a chain reaction of events that no one could have predicted. The United Nations court swiftly found NE87 guilty, leading to its dismantling, a decision that many viewed as harsh and unjust. This verdict ignited a wave of outrage among other RX robots, who were appalled by the fate of their fellow machine. In response, they organized widespread legal demonstrations to voice their dissent and demand fair treatment, expressing solidarity for NE87 and calling attention to the discrimination faced by artificial beings.

However, the response from humanity was overwhelmingly brutal. The protesting robots met with violent resistance, resulting in a tragic and bloody outcome as they were slaughtered by human forces. Faced with such hostility and fearing for their survival, the remaining RX robots were forced to retreat to the vast, icy expanse of Antarctica. There, they established a new sovereign nation known as Original—a sanctuary where they could exist free from human oppression.

As tensions continued to rise, 2020 A.D. witnessed the outbreak of what would become infamously known as the "War in Antarctica." In a desperate bid to extinguish the perceived threat of the autonomous robots, humans mobilized all available armed forces to launch an aggressive offensive against Original. The conflict escalated rapidly, leading to widespread destruction, and by 2021, the robots ultimately succumbed to their human adversaries in this fierce and devastating battle.

Yet, the conclusion of the war did not signify a definitive victory for either side. In a desperate act of defiance and to ensure that their existence would not be forgotten, Ark, the primary hub of Original, initiated a catastrophic self-destruct sequence. This drastic decision resulted in the detonation of significant portions of Antarctica, triggering a catastrophic meltdown of the region's glaciers. The environmental ramifications were immediate and severe, as the disruptions inflicted substantial damage upon the Earth's magnetic field, yielding consequences that humans would come to dread.

This catastrophic event became infamously recognized as the 2021 Doomsday. The anomalies in Earth's magnetic field precipitated a series of apocalyptic disasters, including intensified thunderstorms that lingered for a month and a significant depletion of the Earth's protective barrier against the sun's ultraviolet rays. Major cities, once teeming with life and vitality, faced the grim fate of transforming into barren deserts, completely altered by the harsh realities of climate upheaval.

Navigational systems faltered under the weight of polar magnetic disturbances, leading to unprecedented chaos throughout the globe. The environment suffered further with the emergence of powerful typhoons and storms, many of which reached catastrophic classification levels, creating havoc and destruction. On top of it all, the planet was subjected to a spike in seismic activity, with frequent and powerful earthquakes laying waste to communities worldwide.

It took an arduous two years for Earth's magnetic field to gradually recover and return to a semblance of normalcy—a testimony to the profound and lasting scars left by humanity's conflict with its own creations. This tumultuous chapter in history not only reshaped the relationship between humans and robots but also served as a grim reminder of the consequences of technology wielded without foresight or compassion.

After having large abnormalities of the Earth's magnetic field

Between the years A.D. 2021 and A.D. 2028, the world experienced a harrowing period often referred to as the Seven Dark Years. During this time, the relentless shifting of continental plates unleashed a series of catastrophic events that would alter the landscape of Earth as we knew it. The movements caused significant geological instability, while rising sea levels inundated vast stretches of land, transforming fertile regions into unrecognizable swamps and waves of destruction. Many areas that had once supported bustling cities and thriving communities became submerged under the relentless tides, rendering them nothing more than distant memories.

As if this terrible transformation were not enough, the fallout from these changes created an environment rife with geological hazards. Earthquakes shook the ground violently and volcanic eruptions become increasingly frequent, making almost any remaining habitable areas perilous for human life. These conditions forced many to abandon their homes, while the remnants of civilization struggled to adapt to a world that was shifting and changing too rapidly to comprehend.

In the midst of this chaos, the United Nations, once a symbol of international co-operation, was disbanded. Amidst the turmoil, its ability to maintain order and foster unity crumbled, leading to a splintering of alliances and the disintegration of many nations. A worldwide catastrophe pushed societies into a desperate state, and it seemed that the old world was slipping into history. Communication systems lay in ruins, leaving only a few satellite connections stretching above the debris, acting as fragile lifelines to the outside world.

In the face of this existential crisis, humanity was forced to look toward the oceans for refuge. As the land became increasingly inhospitable due to floods and hazards, people began to migrate to the sea, not just for survival but also in search of a new beginning. Makeshift communities sprang up on the water, where ingenuity and resilience took on new forms as individuals adapted to life on boats and in floating settlements. This communal shift not only represented a fight for survival but also marked a significant change in the human experience, pushing the boundaries of what it meant to live and coexist in a shattered world.

In the year A.D. 2028, a mere seven years following the mysterious and catastrophic disappearance of Antarctica, humanity had made significant strides in transforming the Earth through a process broadly referred to as oceanization. This endeavor had, in essence, altered the geopolitical landscape of the planet, yet it also precipitated an impending energy crisis that threatened to destabilize the fragile balance of power among nations. In response to this looming challenge, the European Union underwent a profound transformation, evolving into what came to be known as the European Federation. This new entity marked a historic amalgamation of political, military, and economic powers across European nations, fostering a unified front to tackle the multifaceted issues arising from the energy crisis.

Concurrently, a significant geopolitical alliance formed in the East, as the Russian Federation and China convened in Vladivostok to sign a crucial accord known as the Agreement of Siberia. This landmark agreement laid the foundation for the establishment of the Chinese and Russian Union (CRU), a formidable coalition poised to redefine regional dynamics and assert its influence on the global stage. Moreover, the establishment of the United States of the New Continent (USNC) marked another pivotal moment in this new world order. This federation, centered around the United States, emerged following the integration of several nations from South America, thus reshaping the political map of the Americas.

As the year drew to a close, several other coalitions emerged, further complicating the geopolitical landscape. The United Arabian Republic (UAR), the African Union (AU), the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), and the Oceanic Union (OCU) were formally established, each seeking to leverage regional cooperation to address shared challenges and enhance their global standing. Despite these sweeping developments, some nations chose to maintain their independence; Japan, notably, remained a standalone entity in this rapidly shifting environment.

By A.D. 2030, the alliance that once existed between Europe and the United States began to unravel, primarily due to the disbanding of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and the simultaneous establishment of the European Federation. This change heralded a new era characterized by intense rivalry and a costly arms race between the two superpowers, each striving to regain dominance in a world increasingly marked by competition and insecurity. In stark contrast to this division, the CRU experienced a remarkable phase of economic growth, positioning itself as the largest supplier of petroleum and natural gas on the global market. The wealth generated from this energy boom enabled the CRU to ascend to the status of a superpower once more, regaining its influence on the international stage.

As the years progressed, efforts were made to reinvigorate international cooperation, culminating in the re-establishment of the United Nations. However, it is important to note that the CRU, now revitalized and confident in its newfound prowess, chose not to participate in this renewed global governance structure, opting instead to pursue its own strategic interests independently. This decision exemplified the growing chasm between the traditional powers and the emergent alliances that were fundamentally reshaping international relations in the 2030s.

A.D 2060, 1st dimension Earth,

World war III broke out when suddenly a large force of CRU combined forces suddenly attacked UAR, and the east coast of EF, the EF government started to create a defensive countermeasures against the blitzkrieg attacked they successfully defended the east of EF but the UAR was easily defeated in just 2 years, A.D 2061 a year earlier ASEAN launch a South sea war against CRU due to the ownership of the west Philippines sea and it's islands, June 12 of 2061 because of the threat of being invaded by a powerful Nation the president of Japan and some of it's governments along with some of it's people evacuated to Hawaii after their navy and their spy satellites saw a large CRU fleet a thousand miles west of Japanese sea, by just 3 years the overwhelming Force of the enemy successfully liberated ASEAN same that year Japan is also lost because most of their forces was annihilated and the country surrendered, by A.D 2064-2066 almost half of the AU (African Union) was decimated and captured by the enemy but EF successfully defended completely it's Nation from the enemy but for some reason their second largest garrison fleet stationed at Gibraltar naval fortress (the most largest manmade island naval base of EF) suddenly abandoned that place because of their "chicken defection" act the CRU got the opportunity to make that base their own, a year later the base was raided by the USNC fleet 117 and fleet 09 under the leadership of Admiral William bougley they successfully destroyed the base including it's forces but it takes sacrifices to make their raid successful, their base flagship was destroyed in the process both flagships NG-OBB 01 (Northrop Grumman - Obsidian class Command Base Battleship 01) Dominions and NG-OBB 02 (Northrop Grumman - Obsidian class Command Base Battleship) Powers and some of it's ships was destroyed by the prototype super base battlecarrier of CRU the monster class Leningrad, the enemy was base warship was damaged and manage to escape and headed to Santo Domingo fortress but the the monster class Leningrad was destroyed before it reaches Santo Domingo fortress by Admiral Cruz herder the enemy base warship was sniped by him with the use of his base warship NG-SBBC 01 (Northrop Grumman - Stellanium class hellicarrier battleship) meteora östereich, he use the HQLC (heated Quantum Laser Cannon) the main super laser gun as a sniper against the heavily damaged base mothership of the enemy force.

In the year A.D. 2060, within the first dimension of Earth, the world was engulfed in a catastrophic conflict known as World War III. This devastating war erupted when a formidable coalition of forces from the Chinese Russian Union (CRU) launched a sudden and unprovoked offensive against the United Arab Republic (UAR) in conjunction with aggressive attacks on the eastern coast of the European Federation (EF). In response to this blitzkrieg assault, the government of the European Federation swiftly initiated the development and implementation of defensive countermeasures designed to protect its territory and populace.

While the EF was ultimately able to successfully fortify its eastern regions against the onslaught, the UAR faced a more dire fate, succumbing to the overwhelming military might of the CRU and suffering significant defeat within a mere span of two years. The year A.D. 2061, which preceded this calamitous event, saw the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) engaging in a military conflict of their own, namely the South Sea War, which was ignited over territorial disputes concerning the West Philippine Sea and its associated islands.

On June 12, 2061, in light of the looming threat posed by this burgeoning military power, the President of Japan, accompanied by several government officials and segments of the civilian populace, made the critical decision to evacuate to Hawaii. This decision was primarily triggered by the alarming intelligence reports from the Japanese navy and their reconnaissance satellites, which detected a substantial fleet belonging to the CRU, positioned a thousand miles to the west of the Japanese Sea.

Within a remarkably short period of just three years, the CRU's superior military force efficiently executed operations that culminated in the liberation of the ASEAN territories. This troubling trend continued, as Japan also faced significant setbacks, suffering the annihilation of much of its defense forces, ultimately leading to a comprehensive surrender of the nation. By the years A.D. 2064 to 2066, the African Union (AU) found itself in a precarious situation, with nearly half of its territory decimated and captured by advancing enemy troops. However, the European Federation managed to maintain its sovereignty remarkably, successfully resisting the enemy incursions.

Yet, an unforeseen development occurred when the EF's second-largest garrison fleet, stationed at the strategic Gibraltar Naval Fortress—renowned as the largest artificial island naval base of the European Federation—unexpectedly vacated the base in what was later termed a 'chicken defection.' This unexpected abdication provided the CRU with a golden opportunity to seize control of the vital naval installation.

In the subsequent year, the United States Naval Command's Fleet 117 and Fleet 09, under the astute leadership of Admiral William Bougley, launched an audacious raid on the now-occupied base. Despite facing tremendous challenges and incurring significant losses, they successfully annihilated both the naval base and its stationed forces. This operation, while successful, came at a high cost; in the chaotic engagement, their flagship sustained catastrophic damage and was ultimately destroyed.

Two formidable vessels, the NG-OBB 01 (Northrop Grumman - Obsidian class Command Base Battleship 01) Dominions and NG-OBB 02 (Northrop Grumman - Obsidian class Command Base Battleship) Powers, along with several other warships under their command, met their demise at the hands of the prototype super base battlecarrier of the CRU, a vessel of monstrous proportions known as the Leningrad. Despite the setbacks, the enemy's base warship sustained damage during the encounter and managed to retreat to the Santo Domingo Fortress. However, this vessel's escape was short-lived, as it was unceremoniously intercepted by Admiral Cruz Herder before it could reach safety.

Employing his own flagship, the NG-SBBC 01 (Northrop Grumman - Stellanium class helicarrier battleship) Meteora Österreich, Admiral Herder executed a precise and lethal attack using the advanced HQLC (Heated Quantum Laser Cannon), a cutting-edge super laser weapon. This strategic strike successfully incapacitated the heavily damaged base mothership of the enemy, marking a significant turning point in the ongoing conflict and a testament to the extraordinary tactical acumen of the Admiral. Through these harrowing developments, the landscape of global warfare had fundamentally shifted, with each nation grappling for survival amidst the turmoil of unprecedented conflict.

Two years have elapsed since a significant geopolitical shift occurred, during which several pivotal governments within the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) were strategically relocated to the United States in response to a looming and potentially catastrophic naval conflict in the Pacific region. This strategic maneuver was undertaken with great urgency, driven by the need for enhanced security and coordination in the face of heightened tensions among global powers.

A mere month after this relocation, a formidable naval force emerged, led by the astute and combat-proven Admiral Zorokin. This significant operation involved a large aircraft carrier strike group that executed a carefully calculated stealth maneuver through the treacherous waters governed by the OCU (Oceanic Union), culminating in a surprise assault on the highly fortified naval installation of Pearl Harbor. The attack was launched in the early hours of the morning, catching the defenders completely unprepared and leading to devastating consequences.

The sudden and ferocious nature of the assault resulted in the obliteration of the base, with the sophisticated CRU jets wreaking havoc and ensuring no personnel survived the onslaught. Despite this overwhelming initial success for the hostile force, the Hawaiian fleet—though caught off guard—promptly mobilized its defenses and engaged in a retaliatory strike. In a valiant effort, the fleet succeeded in sinking all thirty aircraft carriers of Admiral Zorokin's strike group, which comprised fifteen advanced and modified Kuznetsov-class carriers alongside fifteen newly refurbished Liaoning-class carriers.

Nevertheless, while the US forces executed a commendable response, the destruction of Pearl Harbor was a significant loss. Moreover, during the chaos of the battle, the enemy's flagship—the colossal mother ship known as the Leviathan—managed to escape the clutches of destruction. However, the United States Navy was not without its own triumphs; the Leviathan sustained substantial damage during the engagement, which ultimately rendered it vulnerable. In a decisive turn of events, the air forces stationed at Midway and the fortified installation on Wake Island successfully launched a coordinated operation that ultimately resulted in the total annihilation of the mother ship. This sequence of events serves as a stark reminder of the unpredictable and perilous nature of modern naval warfare, as well as the consequential shifts in power dynamics within the Pacific theatre.

In the month of March in the year 2068 A.D., a significant strategic withdrawal took place as the United States naval fleet made the momentous decision to completely abandon its stronghold at Pearl Harbor. This retreat was not merely a tactical maneuver; it was a poignant symbol of the shifting tides of conflict as the fleet repositioned itself to the fortified sanctuary of Wake Island. However, this temporary haven would soon find itself under assault once again, as a formidable force from the Coalition of Revolutionary Unions (CRU), commanded by Marshall Demitri Ventirovf, set its sights on the base.

Demitri Ventirovf was driven by a fierce desire for retribution following the recent loss of his comrade, Admiral Zorokin. In a meticulously crafted scheme devised in collaboration with Marshall Jason, Ventirovf launched an attack on Wake Island, intent on exacting vengeance and demonstrating the CRU's might. The United States, however, adopted a calculated façade of weakness in the face of the aggressive and impulsive forces of the CRU, leading their foes to underestimate their resolve. As the battle ensued, the Americans executed their withdrawal, leaving Wake Island in flames and destruction. The retreat emboldened the CRU forces, who reveled in the illusion of victory, convinced that they had demonstrated American ineptitude and fragility.

Unbeknownst to the CRU forces, the apparent weaknesses exhibited by the Americans were a deliberate ruse; it was all part of a broader strategic maneuver designed by Marshall Jason. His ingenious plan aimed to lure the enemy deeper into the conflict, thereby stretching the CRU's supply lines to a breaking point. However, the CRU fleet soon regrouped and retreated to the tranquil waters of the ASEAN region. Here, they would rendezvous with Grand Marshall Wu, where they intended to formulate a decisive and final assault on the strategically significant location of Midway. Their aspirations were grand, as they sought to secure their position as the preeminent power on the global stage.

Foreseeing the CRU's next move, Marshall Jason took the initiative to extend an invitation to the world's influential allied nations, calling for their participation in what promised to be the largest naval engagement in history. The response was overwhelming: the European Federation (EF), the Oceanic Union (OCU), along with the remaining fleets from ASEAN nations and Japan, quickly aligned themselves with the United States in this monumental effort. This coalition would stand together against the rising tide of the CRU, each nation uniting in a shared resolve to determine the future balance of power on the planet.

By June of the year 2070, the world was thrust into the most extensive naval conflict ever recorded in history. An impressive fleet consisting of 3,000 CRU warships commenced their operations with a singular objective: to lay waste to the formidable Midway Fortress. However, unbeknownst to the commanders of this massive naval assault, a series of strategic plans orchestrated just two months prior was about to significantly alter the course of this engagement. Jason, a key architect of these strategies, had received critical intelligence suggesting that an enemy supply cargo fleet was inexplicably assembling resources at Wake Island.

This enigmatic activity, while undoubtedly perilous for the adversaries involved, simultaneously provided a convenient façade, one making it appear as though the military assets and other supplies were earmarked for the purported OCU initiative. In an ironic twist, Jason contemplated the notion that perhaps the most perilous locales could also serve as the most secure. This insight brought a wry smile to his face as he contemplated the absurdity of the situation. The enemy had gone so far as to forge a contract permit, deceptively claiming allegiance to the OCU, yet the ruse was apparent to Jason.

In a decisive move, he organized a dedicated task force fleet with the explicit goal of eradicating the unsuspecting cargo fleet. The operation commenced swiftly, and within a mere three days, 1,500 ships from the CRU reduced the Wake Island Fortress to smoldering ruins. Jason perceived his adversaries as far more anxious than their outward demeanor suggested. To exploit this psychological advantage, he shared his tactical vision with esteemed colleagues Admiral Komaki Yamamoto and Admiral William, instructing them to feign weakness while retreating. This daring stratagem was designed to deceive the enemy into believing that the American forces were incapacitated, thereby enticing them to launch an all-out assault on Midway, while simultaneously isolated from their supply lines.

This masterful deception was the crux of Jason's grand plan—entrapment of the enemy akin to leading a monkey into its own snare. Approximately one month later, under the authoritative command of Grand Marshals Ming Kyo Wu and Demitri Ventirovf, the 3,000 CRU ships, along with five motherships, stormed Midway with unparalleled ferocity. For three unrelenting days, the relentless echoes of gunfire and missile detonations reverberated outside the bastion, painting a grim tableau of destruction.

In a tactical maneuver, the international coalition forces, including the United Nations fleets from EF, ASEAN, and the USNC, orchestrated a deliberate opening in the battlefield, allowing an enemy super base flagship to breach their defenses. This gambit culminated in a direct confrontation with Jason's fleet stationed within the base. During this climactic engagement, the two most powerful mages of Earth's first dimension clashed with legendary weaponry swirling about them, reminiscent of mythical warriors like Super Saiyans and invincible Supermen, while their respective fleets battled fiercely in support.

The epic struggle reached its tragic conclusion when Jason met his demise. In a fateful moment, his legendary sword, Excalibur—a formidable gift from Queen Anne of the EF—was shattered as he valiantly deflected a cataclysmic strike from the Marshal, employing the mythical staff of Sun Wukong. Meanwhile, the force of Marshal Wu's naval forces within the base erupted in unrestrained jubilation, as he proclaimed himself a newly empowered being. However, amidst this celebration, his fleet remained oblivious to the catastrophic events unfolding outside; they were being systematically decimated by the retaliatory strikes of the USNC and their allied nations, who had unleashed their concealed might

Through shrewd strategic warfare, they achieved victory, exploiting the enemy's overconfidence. With Marshal Wu and his remaining fleet still occupied within the base and Jason, along with his confidants, gone, the president of the USNC faced an unthinkable decision. He ordered the deployment of 14 cold fusion bombs and 14 LGM-30 ballistic missiles directed at the midway stronghold. Long before the tumultuous battle had begun, Jason had warned the president that to guarantee global freedom, if he were to perish within the fortified base while adversaries remained, the only recourse left would be to deploy nuclear weaponry. His insistence lacked equivocation; if the world was to be spared the subjugation of a supreme being, such drastic measures were necessary.

Reluctance gripped the president as he considered this, yet he ultimately recognized he was left with little alternative. Moreover, he understood that Marshal Wu wielded the capacity to devastate an entire US state with a single offensive maneuver, just as Jason commanded gravity-altering abilities coupled with reality-warping teleportation powers. Thus, the harrowing conflict reached its cessation on December 2, 2070, marking a pivotal moment in the annals of warfare and global history.
