Long ago, the God of the Bible created the Sacred Gear System, a heavenly mechanism designed to assist humans in fighting evil alongside angels. But peace was fleeting.
Tensions rose. War ignited. The Great War between Angels, Devils, and Fallen Angels devastated the balance of the world.
Lucifer and the Four Great Satans led the Devils. Azazel, head of the Grigori, commanded the Fallen Angels. Heaven bled, and chaos reigned.

But beyond time and existence, two mysterious souls wandered the Void.
These were not ordinary spirits—they absorbed the raw energy of chaos and destruction, remnants of divine errors in the reincarnation cycle. They could not return to the normal cycle. They were too powerful. Too unstable.
Three powerful deities—beings older than time—noticed the anomaly.
> "These souls possess the power of the Outer Gods," said the first God, in awe.
"Even I don't have the power to contain them," admitted the second.
The third, a quiet Goddess with infinite eyes, simply sighed. "Then let us guide them… carefully."
Together, they decided to reincarnate the two souls—but only after sealing their powers to prevent destruction. They formed a divine system to bind their powers until the right moment. The third Goddess, however, did something unexpected.
She offered her blessing to one of the souls.
> "Why?" asked the others.
She smiled faintly. "Because one of them… is destined to become my successor."
With divine force, they cast the two souls back into the mortal world.

Human World – Birth of the Hyoudou Twins
In a small hospital in Kuoh Town, Miki Hyoudou gripped the hospital bed, drenched in sweat. Beside her in the waiting room was her husband, Gorou Hyoudou, cradling their daughter Lily, nervously pacing.
Twenty minutes later, two healthy baby boys were born.
Miki smiled as she held her sons. "The one on the right is Issei... and the one on the left is Leo."
Gorou chuckled, holding back tears. "Beautiful names, love."
Even little Lily stared curiously at her new brothers, her big eyes sparkling with wonder.

In a hidden laboratory beneath the Underworld, strange experiments took place. Capsules lined the walls—holding twisted creatures: Devils, hybrids, abominations.
At the center was a girl, floating inside green fluid.
Her name was Roxy. Only five years old, black-haired, doll-like in appearance.
Her fate was cruel.
She had been kidnapped and experimented on by her brother, Rizevim Livan Lucifer, as part of a twisted experiment on Outer God energy.
Her stepmother, Lilith, who had loved Roxy dearly, was also imprisoned—left in a half-dead coma from forced breeding during the war.
Her father, Lucifer, gave her no love—obsessed with his war against Heaven and his creator, the Biblical God.
Roxy's true mother, however, was not Lilith, but Sariel, the Angel of Death—cold, powerful, and fiercely proud of her role. As the Watcher of Humanity, she had once fallen for Lucifer during peace talks between Heaven and Hell.
Their love was brief. When Lucifer rebelled, Sariel ended it.
But she was pregnant.
After the war broke out, she gave her child to Lilith, trusting her more than Lucifer.

Four Years Later – Kuoh Town
Children laughed and played at the local park. Among them, Leo Hyoudou played with his friend Irina, while his twin brother, Issei, stared at a busty girl with hearts in his eyes.
Leo frowned, disgusted.

The girl turned, glared at Issei in disgust, and stormed off.
Issei screamed. "You jerk! You ruined my moment!"
Leo scoffed. "Maybe stop being a creep for once."

Irina giggled awkwardly. Leo just facepalmed. He loved his brother… but damn, he was insufferable.

A few days later, Leo saw Irina sitting alone at the park, tears in her eyes.
> "Irina? What's wrong?"
> "We're going back to England," she sniffled.
Leo's heart sank. He had known, but hearing it broke something inside him.
He hugged her. "Even if we're apart, we'll always be friends. And… I'll give you a gift before you go."
That made her smile.
Later, at home, Leo opened a coin jar—his personal savings. He had collected money for his family in case of emergencies. But now, he had a mission: buy a gift for Irina.
He found himself at a strange antique shop hidden in a foggy alley.
An old lady greeted him. Her presence was… odd.
> "What do you want, brat?"
> "Something for a friend. She's leaving."
The old lady raised an eyebrow, amused. "Look, but break anything and you pay."
Leo nodded and explored. He found weapons, relics, trinkets… until he saw it.
A blue crystal necklace, shaped like a teardrop.
He heard a faint voice from within.
He brought it to the counter. "How much?"
> "1000 yen."
Leo's face fell. He only had 8500 yen left, and didn't want to leave her with a loss.
> "You're honest," the old lady said. "Fine. Give me 8500. First customer discount."
Leo was stunned. "Thank you!"
The old woman smiled softly as he left.
> "Interesting boy… We'll meet again."
The shop vanished into the fog.
