Children often resemble their parents — that's an undeniable fact. So, considering how beautiful Saya was despite her temper and personality, it was only natural to assume that at least one of her parents was quite attractive as well.
At this moment, Allen confirmed it...
On top of his body lay a voluptuous woman — something he had already come to expect from the women of this world — with a charming beauty and not a single wrinkle, despite being the mother of a seventeen-year-old daughter.
She had beautiful violet hair that felt silky to the touch, cascading freely over her shoulders. Her hands were soft, even though she was clearly someone capable of defending herself both in hand-to-hand combat and with weapons. She radiated a sweet yet mature fragrance, and her entire being carried a gentle, maternal air. This alluring, mature beauty was peacefully sleeping atop Allen.
'Why?!'
Allen didn't know what to think. Of all the women in this mansion, she was the least expected. Sure, Saya, Rei, and Saeko being there would've made sense — all three had shown feelings for him, even kissing him — but this woman? Though they had a good relationship, she had never shown the slightest hint of romantic interest.
'I really hope I didn't do anything while unconscious...'
He recalled past situations — one in Fairy Tail where something similar ended with him proposing to all his girlfriends, and before that, the party where Emma and Megan became his lovers.
[Heh...]
'I know, don't laugh. Just tell me what happened!'
[Tsk... you're no fun... shouldn't you be more worried about sleeping with your girlfriend's mother right in front of her~?]
"..."
[Fine, fine...]
....
*Flashback*
It was late at night, and everyone was supposed to be resting after a long, exhausting day. A purple-haired girl wearing a kimono stepped out of her room, looking embarrassed.
She glanced both ways down the hallway, then quickly slipped into the room to her right.
Saeko, cheeks flushed, didn't bother turning on the lights. Instead, she untied her kimono and let it fall to the floor, revealing a black lace nightgown — daring, yet it suited her perfectly.
She swallowed hard and walked toward the bed where Allen was supposed to be sleeping. She had made up her mind: tonight, she would stay by his side. If he woke up, whatever happened would happen. If not, she'd at least be there to greet him in the morning.
"What are you doing?"
Saeko froze. She was so nervous that her instincts dulled — enough that she didn't sense another girl standing behind her.
"You..." Saeko turned around, her expression instantly turning cold.
"I knew that whole demure girl act was fake. You're just a pervert," Rei mocked.
Saeko smirked with disdain. "And who are you to judge me?"
Rei, wearing only a pink blouse and white panties, wasn't intimidated. She huffed, and both girls fell silent. It was one thing to build up the courage to sneak into Allen's room at night, but another to do it in front of the other. If either of them acted, they'd both look like perverts. Yet neither wanted to leave — that would mean surrendering their chance.
As the two stared each other down, they heard Saya murmur. Both turned toward the bed — and froze.
Saya was lying in Allen's arms.
"Hehe~"
The girl giggled softly, her face radiating pure bliss and satisfaction — an expression rarely seen on anyone.
"..."
"..."
Saeko and Rei's gazes grew cold and sharp enough to kill. The killing intent was so strong that Saya turned pale, but as if sensing her fear, Allen unconsciously pulled her closer. That alone was enough to make Saya smile again.
Saeko and Rei exchanged glances, then silently clasped hands — forming a temporary alliance against a common enemy.
Minutes later, Saya had become Allen's pillow, and both girls had crawled into bed on either side of him.
Meanwhile...
Yuriko walked down the mansion's hallways. She had been working tirelessly for hours, ensuring that order was restored — punishing the culprits of the chaos, repairing gates, checking supplies, and evaluating the survivors.
"Ugh... disgusting..." Yuriko rubbed her temple. A headache throbbed behind her eyes.
She was only human, after all — tired, scared, and uncertain. The day's events had nearly cost her everything. The accumulated stress had finally led to a migraine.
"Maybe I should drink something..."
She didn't talk to herself often, so before finishing her thought, she had already gone down to the wine cellar, grabbed one of the expensive bottles, and headed back to her room. There, she undressed and sank into a bubble bath with a glass of wine and soft music playing in the background.
"I hope Saya's friends are all right. Of everyone here, that young man's group suffered the most..."
Among them, Allen was the biggest mystery. Unlike Soichiro, Yuriko hadn't paid much attention to him at first, assuming that anyone her daughter admired must be trustworthy. But she had heard Soichiro's growing unease over time — how Allen's ordinary background didn't match his extraordinary abilities.
"Those guns... they appeared out of nowhere, didn't they?"
Allen had been careful to conceal his powers, but during the fight with the Defect, his rage had clouded his judgment — and his tattered clothes didn't help hide the weapons he pulled from his inventory.
"A miracle cure, superhuman strength, inexplicable powers..."
Of course, Yuriko didn't intend to pry. She owed her life — and the survival of the mansion — to that group.
"Maybe the only flaw that young man has is his libido," she laughed softly, recalling how Allen had boldly declared Shizuka as his woman before everyone, only to carry Saeko in his arms later, refusing to hand her over to the medics, saying he would handle it himself.
"If this were the normal world, Saya wouldn't stand a chance... but in the apocalypse, maybe she still has a shot. As long as she's willing to accept that he's a womanizer~"
In good spirits, Yuriko drank more and more until she finished the entire bottle.
...
"Saya!"
Yuriko threw open Allen's bedroom door. The woman was clearly drunk — she didn't have much alcohol tolerance, and her senses were completely clouded.
"I know you're here, you shameless girl I don't care how much you love your boyfriend, but doing it in your mother's house is disgraceful, I swear—"
Yuriko had gone looking for her daughter, and when she didn't find her in her room, it wasn't hard to guess where she was.
"Huh?"
To her surprise, she didn't find the scandalous scene she'd expected — but something even more surreal. Her daughter's boyfriend was asleep in bed, surrounded by three girls.
Yuriko blushed as she stepped closer. Seeing the handsome young man peacefully sleeping among three beautiful women left her momentarily speechless. Her common sense told her to scream... but another emotion stirred as she looked at their serene faces.
"Shameless..." Yuriko murmured, clutching her arm.
At first, Allen had reminded her of Soichiro — strong, commanding, reliable. But over time, she noticed significant differences, especially when he saved Shizuka, the more she realized that Allen was driven not by ambition, duty, or morality... but by responsibility, and a deep sense of care for those he cherished.
Yuriko sighed. How long had it been since she felt the warmth of someone's embrace? How long since she'd had to sleep alone, or since she'd been someone's priority?
"..." She sat on the bed next to Rei. The girl, like the others, seemed completely at peace.
Yuriko caressed the finger where a wedding ring should've been. The mark was long gone.
"I'm jealous," she whispered.
Listening to the soft sounds of their breathing, her gaze softened. Slowly, she climbed into the bed, slipping under the covers. Unconsciously, she sought warmth, comfort, and security.
When she reached Allen's abdomen, Yuriko smiled faintly and cuddled against him, falling asleep — truly asleep — for the first time in years.
*End of flashback*
....
....
After reviewing the recording of what happened that night, Allen finally understood everything. Yet, the look she had given him before climbing into bed... was one of deep loneliness.
"Yuriko..."
Allen had a rule — he was well aware that, if he wanted, he could easily ruin marriages. But he had no intention of destroying anyone's happiness, which was why he avoided married women.
Still, he had noticed the signs in Yuriko — her oddly formal behavior around Soichiro, and the absence of a wedding ring.
'I don't want to open Pandora's box...' Allen knew he was a shameless womanizer, but even he had limits.
The question is, could he end something that hasn't even begun yet, or would his heart soften toward this lonely woman?
"Mhm~"
"...!"
Before he could think any further, the woman in question stirred. She rubbed against him like a cat, pressing closer as if marking him with her scent — or the other way around.
"That was the best sleep I've had in years~" she murmured, then leaned closer, inhaling deeply. "What a wonderful smell~"
But then she froze. Realizing that her "pillow" wasn't what she thought it was, she lifted her gaze — and found herself staring straight into Allen's eyes.
"...!"
Allen didn't speak — this awkward situation went beyond anything he had experienced with Hippolyta or Natasha. This felt wrong on so many levels.
'What the hell am I doing?!'
Yuriko's face turned completely red as memories from the previous night flooded back. 'I-I got into his bed with my daughter?!'
That wasn't even the worst part — she had slept in the spot meant for the wife, even clinging to him while sniffing his scent. This kind of behavior went way beyond a simple misunderstanding.
"Good morning, Yuriko-san."
"G-Good m-morning..." the woman replied in a trembling voice, not realizing that despite all her embarrassment, she was still clinging to Allen's waist.
"Mm~"
The three girls began to wake up, which sent Yuriko into a panic. She tried to stand and run, but as she did, a cramp hit her leg, and her face dropped lower — right into Allen's crotch. And, like any healthy man in the morning, Allen was suffering from the natural phenomenon known as the awakening of the morning dragon.
"What is this? Double? Triple?" Yuriko gasped, staring at the monster before her. Instinctively, she swallowed hard and reached out a hand to touch it — only to realize what she was doing and sprint out of the room, trying not to scream.
What she was measuring and what she was comparing it to is something only the woman knows.
[Hahaha this will make a funny story for your kids with Saya~]
Allen lay back, staring at the ceiling. 'Guess I'll have to fight Soichiro with my bare hands after all.'
....
Allen walked down the Takagi mansion hallway.
He had left the room before the girls woke up. He knew that if he stayed, he'd see the three girls' panicked reactions when they were discovered, but in doing so, he would also have to endure the morning chaos of Saya fighting with Saeko and Rei to take her place, which would also be fun, but he needed to check that everyone was okay before leaving.
Every action had consequences...
Everyone could stay in the Takagi mansion for a few more days — it was comfortable and safe enough to recover their strength — but with each passing hour, the chances of finding everyone's families alive diminished.
He knocked on the door to Shizuka and Kyoko's room.
"Come in," Kyoko's voice answered.
As soon as the door opened, Shizuka threw herself at Allen, wrapping herself around him like a sloth and rubbing her cheek against his.
"Allen-kun~"
Shizuka hadn't been able to talk to him yesterday since he'd fallen asleep from exhaustion.
"Good morning, Shizuka." Allen gently patted her head — despite her age, she sometimes acted like a spoiled child.
Then he looked inside the room and saw Kyoko sitting up in bed, clearly embarrassed as she tried to hide several beer cans with her foot. Yuuki was there too, fixing her hair at the vanity, while Alice was still asleep in bed.
"Hm?" Shizuka frowned and looked at Allen with narrowed eyes before pouting. "Scent of women..."
'Are you a dog?' everyone thought.
"Well, I won't deny that some girls climbed into my bed while I was asleep. Haha."
All three women felt a twinge of jealousy but didn't show it.
"I wanted to go too, but I fell asleep~" said Shizuka, pretending to cry.
"My, my, you're quite the Don Juan, Allen-kun. I feel foolish for trying to correct you for two years with no success."
Kyoko wouldn't admit that she had also considered going to Allen's room but ended up drinking to relieve stress and passed out.
"Master, you should've called me. I could've taken care of you better than those three virgins~," Yuuki said with a sneer.
Of course, Yuuki wouldn't admit that she, too, had thought about going but was too embarrassed to do so.
"Well, well, there'll be other chances for you all to get into my bed. For now, get ready to leave."
All three women blushed. Allen wasn't a shy man — they had to be careful with what they said or did, or they might end up being devoured without warning.
....
Allen left the jasmine-scented room and went to see the rest of the girls. Unlike his "harem," Yui, Kawamoto, Toshimi, and Misuzu had gotten up early and were helping with cleaning and cooking, something the mansion staff greatly appreciated.
When he saw the guys, though, they looked like a pile of dead pigs — forcing Allen to put on his "drill instructor" hat.
"Get up, recruits! You sacks of lard! Miserable worms! Human trash!"
At his shout, every man in the shared dorm room nearly fell off their beds.
Hirano even snapped into a military salute, recalling his shooting training in the U.S.
"Sir! Yes, sir!"
"Louder, you fat bastard, I can't hear you!"
"Sir! Yes, sir!"
With a deadpan face, Allen walked over to Hirano.
Takashi, terrified, tried to put on his pants but tripped and fell. Hisashi, still dazed, stood up too fast and smashed into the wall. Even Teshima froze in fear as Allen approached Hirano like the Grim Reaper himself.
"Recruit Hirano, would you like to explain to these idiots how the guy with the worst physical condition managed to humiliate the rest of you?"
"Sir, yes, sir! Uh—I mean, I'm not sure, sir!"
"Close enough." Allen broke character and shrugged. Still, his performance was so convincing that for a moment everyone thought he was actually going to beat them up.
They all froze. 'He's not going to kill us?"
"Listen up — we're leaving soon. Get ready."
As soon as he finished, Allen walked away, and Hirano collapsed to the floor.
"I thought I was dead!"
....
Allen went to one last place...
Thanks to the new minimap feature that marked locations, and Saya telling him where Soichiro's office was, he got there right away.
He knocked on the door.
"Come in..."
Inside, Soichiro sat at his desk, staring at a map with two subordinates beside him. The dark circles under his eyes made it clear he hadn't slept at all.
"Allen Walker…" Soichiro muttered his name. His two subordinates tensed, but Soichiro gestured for them to stand down.
"Soichiro, we need to talk."
"About what? You still want to fight?" Despite his words, Soichiro knew that wasn't it.
"About what happened yesterday — about the chimeras, the deserters, the possible causes of all this, about this place, about the future, about Saya… and about Yuriko."
Allen's gaze was deadly serious.
Soichiro narrowed his eyes and signaled his men to leave. Once the door closed, the real conversation between the two began.
....
Raven – Well, it looks like Allen's finally leaving the Takagi mansion — for real this time.
Hestia – I see. So what's next?
Emma Frost – We're supposed to have limited information, right?
MJ – That's right. After this, they're supposed to head to a shopping mall where a group of survivors is holed up... that's where he would meet Asami — who, in the original story, doesn't have a great ending — and Matsushima, who, for some reason, got swapped with that smoker girl. Well, now that's in doubt.
Rogue – Don't forget Rei's mom. Though honestly, we're running out of story here. We don't even know how this world will end.
Erza – I suppose Lucifer must have written his own version of the ending…
Yoruichi – He's not responding…
Jugram – Coward.
MJ – I just hope Rei-san's mother can survive. She took refuge in a house, but that won't stop mutant zombies.
Rogue – Don't worry, that woman will be fine. Like mother, like daughter~
Natasha – I hope so. That girl doesn't deserve to lose both parents.
McDragon – They'll be fine! They're important characters, right?
Wade – Of course! It's not like two heroines were almost turned into ground beef earlier~
Gwen – Both of you shut up, or I'll ban you for a year.
Her words scared the two idiots into silence. Gwen sighed, then looked at the screen — Allen was still talking with Soichiro. She'd seen Allen's limits and couldn't help but worry.
'Come back safe…'

A/N: I would be surprised if Soichiro didn't try to shoot Allen. 🗿
