The test Aizawa mentioned would take place in the schoolyard.
Everyone headed to the locker rooms to change into their training clothes, which consisted of blue suits with white lines. These uniforms were more durable than regular clothing.
In general, they were similar, though some had modifications.
Allen put on his own suit, which had a pair of fingerless gloves. As for the reason, he didn't know—maybe it had something to do with Nemuri, Nezu, or All Might.
He looked around at the other students, searching for differences, and there were indeed some. As expected, they stood out the most among those with Mutant-type Quirks.
[Mezo Shoji
Quirk: Dupli-Arms
Type: Mutant]
He possessed a Mutant-type Quirk that gave him six arms, so his training suit left his extra arms exposed from the shoulders down.
"Allen-san..." Deku approached Allen with a worried expression.
"If you're looking for comfort, you came to the wrong place. Give it your all, but be careful. A hero can't be exhausted after just one test. Most likely, Aizawa wants to test our limits and see who would get killed if they faced a villain..."
"Seriously?!" Deku exclaimed.
"That's strange..." Iida said with a deep frown. "I heard a lot about U.A. from my brother, but it wasn't supposed to be this strict. Did something happen that changed things?"
....
Gwen – Well, considering that a Hulk appeared and fought two top ten heroes and even tied with All Might.
MJ – Let's not forget there's a drug out there capable of amplifying Quirks.
Kara – The hazardous thing is Lucifer's power. Even the weakest and most insignificant villain can become a deadly threat once corrupted.
"It's true. I don't know how the original story went, but this world will not ignore the butterfly effect caused by Lucifer and me..."
Once again, Allen felt bad for the people of this world, who had to endure his conflict with the devil.
....
Once everyone had changed, the students gathered in the yard, their expressions filled with confusion. The situation felt strange, since there had been no introductions.
Except for Allen, no one else had the advantage of seeing everyone's names, so they didn't even know their classmates' names. On top of that, the hero course hadn't attended the opening ceremony like the rest of the school.
The schoolyard was quite ordinary, unlike the area used in the mock battle. Even so, no one looked relaxed.
"Allen, will we really get expelled if we rank last?" Toru whispered nervously.
"Maybe," Allen replied calmly, smiling at her nervous expression. "But don't worry. You're pretty strong."
"Really...? Yeah!" Toru nodded, thumping her chest.
"This is so unfair," Momo clenched her teeth in frustration.
Everyone shared Momo's feelings. Each of them had stood out among thousands of students just to be admitted. On their very first day, without having learned anything about being a hero, without recognition, without a chance to grow—being expelled now felt like the greatest injustice in the world.
"I don't want to be expelled," a blond boy trembled.
"I knew U.A. was strict, but I didn't think it was this bad," Itsuka murmured beside Allen.
"Yeah..." Allen also felt this was too extreme for the first day, so he raised his hand to clear things up.
"Professor Aizawa."
"What is it?"
"I understand that you'd rather have a group of angry students expelled than a group of dead ones. But is it really right to evaluate us to this extreme without teaching us anything first?"
Aizawa remained silent for a moment, his eyes fixed on Allen. They had met before, but neither seemed to give it importance.
"You're right. It's irrational," Aizawa said. "But sorry—you're just unlucky."
"What?" a boy behind them exclaimed, but quickly fell silent in fear.
Aizawa ran a hand through his hair, his gaze turning dangerous.
"Listen up, brats. For decades, Japan enjoyed a peace known as All Might. I don't need to tell you that before All Might, Japan was on the verge of collapse due to those villains."
"Of course, there were heroes back then, but villains were terrifying. In those days, no one would cheer while heroes fought—everyone would run, everyone would be afraid. But All Might changed that. That's why he was called the Symbol of Peace."
The eyes of many students lit up, their earlier fear fading away. That was the level of respect they all had for All Might.
"However, recently, things have changed... You must have seen in the news the appearance of several spontaneous villains. These were caused by Trigger, a very dangerous drug that has doubled villain incidents in recent months."
"And that's not all—the emergence of new Vigilantes and Villains capable of facing multiple professional heroes..."
"In the Giant Villain incident, it was able to face five heroes alone. Hulk, despite not being a villain per se, was considered a danger to society. The Black Colossus who fought Superman."
Hearing Aizawa's words, some grew excited, while others became worried.
"You should see my point by now. Things are getting very dangerous."
"That's not all, is it?" Todoroki said seriously. "The Hero Public Safety Commission must be dissatisfied with the recent performances of professional heroes..."
Aizawa didn't deny it.
"It's true that many villains have recently been captured by vigilantes—especially three of them you should know about. Villains and criminals being arrested is something to celebrate, since it keeps people safe. But it also made part of the population feel that professional heroes were inadequate..."
Allen shrugged. "As a result, U.A. has become stricter with future heroes, right?"
"Exactly... but don't get it twisted." Aizawa's gaze turned cold. "Regardless of that, I've always been demanding. The only thing that changed is that now I have the green light to push you to your limits!"
Allen wore a half-smile at that.
....
'The disappointment came quickly,' Allen thought as he watched Bakugo holding a ball.
The tests were similar to what you'd see in a regular physical education class, with the added allowance of using their Quirks.
Naturally, many students were excited—especially those with dangerous Quirks that were normally forbidden.
"To start, I want you to throw the ball as far as you can. If your Quirk isn't suitable for this test, don't worry—there will be others..." Aizawa yawned.
Allen looked at the man with disdain. For a moment, he thought Aizawa was serious, but he turned out to be pretty lazy.
"Alright!"
Bakugo grinned savagely as he grabbed the ball, took a running start, and threw it with an explosion.
"Die!"
"Die?" Deku repeated, stunned.
The ball landed far away as Aizawa glanced at his phone, then showed it to everyone.
705.2 m (2,312 ft)
"705 meters... that's incredible," Iida said, reassessing Bakugo. He might be unpleasant and aggressive for no reason, but his ability was real.
"Next," Aizawa said without wasting time.
One by one, the students went.
The results Allen was most interested in were, of course, the girls'.
Momo managed to throw 146 m (479 ft) by using her Quirk to create a slingshot. Itsuka threw the ball 534 m (1,751 ft), which was easy with the strength of her hands. Lastly, Toru only managed 56 m (186 ft).
One result that surprised everyone was that of a brown-haired girl Allen recognized.
[Ochaco Uraraka
Quirk: Zero Gravity
Type: Emitter]
The girl touched the ball, and it began to float endlessly, rising higher and higher until it disappeared. This left many speechless, as the distance was recorded as "infinite."
Raven – At first I thought the girl controlled gravity, but it seems she can only reduce it.
"That's really impressive," Allen smiled.
As soon as Uraraka noticed Allen's gaze, she coughed awkwardly and returned to the group, embarrassed.
Another result that caught Allen's attention was Todoroki's—400 m (1,312 ft). It was interesting; he used a pillar of ice that carried the ball exactly four hundred meters. It gave the impression that Todoroki didn't want to put in more effort.
In the end, only Allen and Deku remain. The latter was nervous, but Allen patted him on the shoulder.
"I wasted a valuable template saving your ass. I hope you don't disappoint me..."
Deku trembled, then steeled himself and walked decisively to the throwing area, gripping the ball.
"One For All, 5%!" Deku murmured. Green electricity surrounded his body as he threw the ball, impressing many—including Bakugo, who looked like his ego had taken a direct hit.
"Midoriya: 705.3 m (2,313 ft)."
Hearing the result, Deku was the most surprised of all at having beaten Bakugo.
Deku returned to the group, smiling awkwardly, while Bakugo seemed to want to attack him.
"Walker..."
At the name of the final participant, everyone turned their attention to Allen. Rumor had it his Quirk was ridiculously powerful.
Allen stepped into the throwing area. Aizawa tossed him another ball, which Allen caught without even looking.
Before throwing, Allen spoke to his chat.
"Now I have two options—be decent and discreet, or stand out overwhelmingly..." Allen smiled. "I know everyone thinks Allen Walker can't be discreet, but you're wrong. The Allen of the past is gone. Now I'm someone more humble."
After finishing his words, Allen used the Superman template at 60%. His muscles strengthened and even increased slightly in volume.
Allen threw the ball, creating a shockwave of air that made the girls scream and the boys shield themselves. He used so much force that the ball disintegrated midair.
'Damn it!' Allen thought. In the end, his pride betrayed him.
"A..." Aizawa stared at his phone, mouth hanging open.
*Error*
"Does that cost me points?" Allen asked, scratching his cheek as everyone stared at him in disbelief.
....
The tests continued in a way that made no sense.
– Side-step test.
Allen began jumping so fast that he created afterimages.
– Speed test.
Allen vanished from his position and appeared at the finish line a second later, leaving Iida—the speedster—panting.
– Jump test.
Allen jumped over the U.A. building.
– Weightlifting test.
Second place went to a stocky boy with spiky hair and thick lips, Rikido Sato, who lifted half a ton using his Quirk, Sugar Rush. This interesting Quirk allows him to convert the sugar he consumes into strength, with a limit of five times his base strength.
Everyone was impressed—until it was Allen's turn. He started juggling one-ton weights...
Rikido went to a corner to sulk.
"Oh well." Allen shrugged. Since being discreet was no longer an option at this point, he had decided he would stand out, period.
Aizawa silently observed Allen before turning to the rest of the class.
"That concludes the test."
Allen returned to the group, standing between Momo and Toru. Since it was over, many let out a sigh of relief, believing that the expulsion talk wasn't real. However, Aizawa's next words shattered that naive illusion.
"Minoru Mineta, step forward."
From among the class, a very short boy stepped out, sporting a strange hairstyle made of balls—part of his Quirk.
[Minoru Mineta
Quirk: Pop Off]
"Your performance was the worst in the class. As a result, I have judged that you are unfit for Class 1-A."
"W-what does that mean, Aizawa-sensei?"
"What you heard. You are unfit for this class." Aizawa showed no mercy.
Mineta, his face pale, couldn't understand what he had just heard.
The expressionless Todoroki and even the explosive Bakugo wore looks of disbelief. No one except Allen took Aizawa's words as final.
"Am I suspended as punishment?" Mineta laughed awkwardly.
"I won't repeat myself. You are expelled from Class 1-A. Did you forget what I told you earlier? The world is changing, and we must be stricter with you. Don't worry—you're not useless... but you lack the ability."
Mineta collapsed to his knees. Hadn't he passed the entrance exam? Wasn't it only the first day? Was he really going to be expelled?
Toru even grabbed Allen's hand. After all, her results had placed her at rank eighteen, which was normal since her Quirk wasn't something that could help her much in this kind of test.
Allen calmed her by patting her head. Unlike the other students, Allen wasn't in shock, and he noticed a burly man and a beautiful girl with a serene gaze and green hair approaching.
When they arrived, Allen noticed that the girl's hair wasn't actually green—it was made of thorny vines.
[Ibara Shiozaki "Maria"
Quirk: Vines
Type: Mutant]
"I see you've finished here as well," the burly man said.
He had gray hair and fangs that stood out from his mouth.
[Sekijiro Kan "Vlad King"
Quirk: Blood Manipulation
Type: Emitter]
This man was the homeroom teacher of Class 1-B, and he had come with one of his students.
"So she is?"
Vlad smiled. "That's right. Shiozaki-kun is the top-performing student in the initial test."
Aizawa nodded and turned to the rest.
"For many years, U.A. classes sought balance between themselves. As you've probably noticed, several students from the top ten of the battle simulation didn't end up in Class 1-A... but it wasn't due to a lack of ability. It was so that no class would feel inferior to the other..."
"I see..." Allen had already understood what they were planning.
Vlad continued in a deep voice. "But this year, that will change. From now on, evaluations will be held every week, and the lowest-ranking student in Class 1-A will be transferred to Class 1-B. Conversely, the most outstanding student in Class 1-B will be transferred to Class 1-A!"
This time, even Allen was caught off guard. They really intended to do something like that? If they did so, the two classes would gradually divide into strong and weak ones.
'A risky move.'
....
While all this was happening, someone else was watching. It was All Might. He had been worried about Deku and decided to spy, having heard everything.
'What are they doing?! They're segregating the students!'
The man who believed in the potential of every young person couldn't agree with dividing students like this, so he immediately went to Principal Nezu's office to find out what was going on.
Once there, All Might—who rarely lost his temper—stormed into Principal Nezu's office.
"What is going on?!"
Nezu, with his great intellect, immediately understood what All Might was referring to and replied calmly.
"It wasn't my idea, but I approved it."
"Who came up with the idea?"
"It was my idea..."
A woman's voice came from behind All Might. When he turned around, he was surprised he hadn't noticed her presence.
It was a woman with purple hair, her face and body covered by a cloak.
"Who are you?"
"..."
"She is a special addition to our staff this year..."
The woman removed her cloak, revealing a beautiful face with indifferent eyes.
"You are..." All Might's eyes widened.
"She is Lady Nagant," Nezu said.

A/N: After thinking about it, I felt that class 1-B did not receive enough attention ;3
