Chapter 171 - THE GENEROUS PRINCESS

Horace and Ariel were still lost in the warmth of each other's lips when a sudden knock echoed from the door. Neither of them flinched. Horace deepened the kiss, refusing to acknowledge anything that wasn't her. But when the knock came again—louder, more persistent—Ariel froze.

She sighed breathlessly against his mouth.

"Someone is at the door."

"The person can knock all he wants," Horace murmured without lifting his lips fully away from hers.

Ariel placed a palm on his chest and gently pushed. "No… go and answer it."

He groaned, leaning forward to steal a last slow kiss. "Alright. But I'm not done with you." His lips brushed hers one more time—soft, claiming, addictive—before he finally stood up.

When he opened the door, Horace blinked in irritation.

Kia stood there—his gamma—grinning like a fool.

"Good morning, Alpha," Kia said, clearly fighting laughter.

Horace narrowed his eyes. "You, as well, can mind-link me, Kai."
