Dexter pinched his nose bridge in frustration.
This was a bit too much for him. The story of how the veil came, how witches created order, it's all sounding like a fairytale.
A very real fairytale.
"That doesn't still explain how they died." Rameses spoke up, his voice call and composed.
Dexter looked at him with a complicated expression. Then he straightened himself and looked at the witches for an answer.
"They went to stop the morning star from coming into the earth. But they failed, and now they're dead." Seraphina spoke, folding her arms.
The entire room went silent, all of them in deep thought. There was one pressing question on Dexter's mind that he needed to know.
"His class, how strong is he?"
Everyone in the room suddenly turned to Dexter's as if wanting to ask the questions themselves.
Orphae shook her head, looking to the side and gazing out of the window, looking at the dark world beyond.
