Chapter 682 - Chapter 682: Cafe Catch-up

Meanwhile, Vivi and Maya both stood in front of the teleporter. It was a large circle. Vivi was wearing a tailored royal blue vest with gold trim over a cream-colored, puff-sleeved blouse. She had a lightweight, around her neck. She wore high-waisted, wide-leg trousers in a deep forest green, paired with simple brown leather sandals.

Maya was wearing a breezy, knee-length white sundress with a yellow sunflower pattern. The dress had thin spaghetti straps which showed some cleavage. She had white shoes.

"Are we ready to go?" Vivi asked.

"Yes, we are," Maya replied. "This will be our second time visiting them," she added. "Don't you want to see Ivy and Cherry as well?" she asked.

Vivi tapped a finger against her chin thoughtfully. "I should, but they are with Rubis and Emeraude, so they are fine," Vivi replied.

"That makes sense," Maya agreed. "Cynthia and Elizabeth are always so happy to see you," she added.

Vivi smiled. "I hope so," she remarked.

"Let's go," Maya said. "Ben only gave us permission for this trip, so we don't want to abuse it," she added.

"Right," Vivi agreed. Although she thought Ben would give more.

Vivi walked over to the control panel and pressed the button. The words "Asuka Island" flashed across the display. As the teleporter hummed to life, both ladies stepped into the light.

In an instant, they were standing in the basement of the restaurant on Asuka Island.

"Let's go see everyone," Vivi said. Maya nodded in agreement.

As they walked upstairs, they found the restaurant alive with energy. The room was packed with people sitting and being served.

"I still can't believe we have a place like this," Maya remarked as she looked around at the crowd.

"Yes, Ben is full of mysteries," Vivi added with a smile. She also thought she was referring to the teleporter.

Just then, they spotted Elizabeth and Cynthia weaving through the tables. They were busy serving the hungry customers.

"Hey, pretty girl! Come sit with me!" a drunk customer shouted at Cynthia as she walked past.

Cynthia ignored him.

"Don't be like that," the man said as he reached out to grab her arm.

Vivi and Maya walked over before he could touch her. "Is there a problem here?" Vivi questioned as she crossed her arms.

The man looked at Vivi and then at Maya. His eyes went wide. "Wow, more beauties! Is this heaven?" he asked with a laugh.

"No, this is a restaurant," Maya replied. "And you are bothering our friend," she added firmly.

"What are you going to do about it?" the man asked as he stood up.

"We do not want any trouble," Vivi replied as she tried to diffuse the situation.

Elizabeth walked past holding a heavy tray. "Please do not cause a commotion," she remarked.

"Then come with me all of you," the drunk man said. "I wont do anything you wont like," he added as he reached out and tried to grab Elizabeth.

At that exact moment Vivi`s eyes flashed red. The air around her shifted. "What are you saying?" she said in a deep sinister voice.

The man looked at Vivi. He started to sweat. "I," he stammered.

"Apologies to my sister and leave," Vivi stated.

He felt there was something different to her. The air, her eyes, something was different. He thought she was not normal. "Okay sorry," he said as he left the place.

"That was amazing," Maya remarked.

Vivi's eyes went back to normal. "It was nothing," she responded.

"Princess Vivi, you were amazing," Elizabeth and Cynthia said together. Everyone also nodded their head in approval.

"Ben would be as well," Maya said.

"Dont tell me about it," Vivi added as she shouted out.

Everyone giggled. "What brings you here Princess Vivi?" Elizabeth asked.

"We just wanted to check on how you are doing," Vivi replied.

"That is so nice," Cynthia replied. "As expected of you Princess Vivi ," she added as she took a bow.

"You can call me Vivi,"Vivi said as she looked a little embarrassed.

"Do these types of things happen often here?" Maya questioned.

"At times," Cynthia replied.

"However we know you will be here to protect us," Elizabeth replied.

Vivi did not like that. She thought they needed something to protect herself. She was going to ask for a devil fruit from Ben for the both of them. She smiled at the girls and thought they did work hard. She thought Ben must meet them as well and give the fruit personally to them.

In the middle of the ocean, Pin Joker and Needles stood on the deck of the ship. Their faces were twisted in pain

"It was because of you we lost," Pin Joker said.

"You lost," Needles replied. He looked down at his own arm in a bandage. It was stiff, but it was there.

Eldoraggo sat in a large chair. He had a few bandages on him. "That damn T-Bone," Eldoraggo muttered, his voice a low growl. "And those brats," he added.

"Every time we do something different, brats come," Pin Joker remarked. "I hate all of them," he added.

"They will all pay," Needles said.

Eldoraggo stood up slowly. He looked at the dark waters of the Grand Line. "This is only a setback," he said as he took the bandages off.

"You only have set backs," Morgan said as he walked into the deck.

"You were not winning there," Gasparade reminded him.

Kuro watched from a distance. He thought they were useless, however even useless people are useful. At that moment, he noticed something. He saw a long streak of smoke and flames.

Gasparde walked beside him and looked up. He saw a burning object in the distance. A cruel smile spread across his face. "What could that be?" he asked.

"It could be just a burning wreckage," Kuro responded.

"One man`s lost is another man`s treasure," Gasparade replied.

"It could be a trap," Kuro warned.

"Are you scared?" Gasparde asked.

Kuro looked at Gasparde. "I thought so," Gasparde responded. "Let us go and see," he added. "Needles turn the ship to the smoke clouds," he ordered.
