"RAAAAAHH!"
With a ferocious and mindless roar, the Demon King opened his jaws, firing another powerful beam, this one containing Heavenly Ki.
"Here it comes; this is definitely Song's power!"
"Yeah!"
The two parents gathered their strength together once more. The power they had unlocked in their recent battles. The Heavenly Demon's Cosmic Power and his White Void Technique, the evolution of his Cursed Marks that embodied all his Dark Emotions through the path of Regret and the Hollowness of his Heart, and also of the Heavenly Empress's power of Hatred, Despair, and Agony, born from the entire world's population as she unleashed the dark side of the Heart of Hope.
"HAAAAHHH!"
They roared together back at their monstrous son, their power combining into a gigantic sword, a beautiful imitation of Gram combined with their armament creations.
Their very souls were poured into this manifestation, as it grew up to a hundred meters in height, black and white spiritual dragons manifesting around it.
"NOW!"
They swung the massive draconic sword down, combining their powers as the two spiritual dragons within it rapidly coiled around the beam, while the sword cut through it!
SLAAAASH!
As this happened, the two dragons reached the Demon King, coiling around his neck and arms and rapidly beginning to bite through his metal and flesh, spreading Ki-Draining Heavenly Dragon Flames.
"GRRHHH…! GRAGRAAGH!"
The furious Demon King rapidly grabbed the two dragons with his bare hands, his Aura growing even stronger as he became furious, and then crushed them.
BOOOM! BOOOM!
Both dragons, however, upon death, exploded, dealing even more damage to the Demon King, whose shoulders had been cracked, and his armor seemed to have grown weaker.
The Demon Kings' regeneration abilities varied a lot from each being; however, Demon Kings that were "incomplete," whose vessels were still unwilling to become one and had yet to be completely consumed, had various defects.
One of the Demon King's defects within this world was that it was unable to regenerate its wounds rapidly; any large wound would take hours to fully regenerate.
This was because of its unstable body, which was both machine and flesh, instead of becoming purely machine, as the creator of the Demon King Seed intended!
"GRAAAAHHH!"
However, being wounded didn't mean the end; these wounds could barely be called superficial wounds at most. The monstrous being, with a ferocious and endless power, rushed towards his parents once more.
His wings spread out and rapidly released metallic feathers, resembling giant missiles that rapidly began tracking the two Venerables as they flew around the skies.
"They're like missiles!"
"Use the shield!"
The Heavenly Empress and the Heavenly Demon synchronized their powers, manifesting the shield once more; several of the feathers hit the shield instead.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Crack, crack…!
However, their eyes widened as they saw the shield rapidly gaining countless cracks until…
CRAAASH!
It was unable to contain all the missiles, exploding into pieces and allowing a dozen of these projectiles to reach them!
"This is it then!"
"Dammit! I wanted to save more power!"
The two quickly unleashed their Auras, roaring in unison as their wings spread out, firing feather projectiles of their own against the incoming missiles.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Most of them were intercepted, but a few managed to get through, blowing on their faces, their auras and barriers broken instantly.
BOOOM!
"Uggh..!"
"A-Are you okay?!"
The Heavenly Empress groaned as her ex-husband rushed towards her, worried about her well-being.
"I'm fine! Don't worry about me! He's coming!"
"GRAAAHHHH!"
Without letting them even rest, the Demon King leaped towards their backs, his gigantic claws finally catching them as he unleashed a barrage of cleaving blows, capable of destroying a whole mountain.
"{Heavenly Yinyang Shield}!"
Barely in time due to their great reflexes, their combined Aura rapidly manifested a massive shield, which took all the hits for them.
Crack, crack…!
However, it was already about to shatter again!
"Release the power now!"
"Okay!"
They pushed their hands forward; the shield rapidly exploded, but the power was released in time, hitting the Demon King's chest and its face.
BOOOMMM!!!
"UUAAGH…!"
The Demon King groaned in agony, falling from the skies and reaching the seas below with a loud splashing sound.
SPLAAASH!
The two Venerables glanced at one another; their hearts were pumping incredibly quickly; every moment was a life-and-death situation, perhaps even more dangerous than against the Constellation's Avatars.
"Haaahh… Haaahh… W-We're somehow managing!" The Heavenly Empress said, looking at the Heavenly Demon.
"Back then we could've killed him if we went all-out when our powers were not weakened…" The Heavenly Demon sighed. "But… I suppose we were never able to bring ourselves to do such a thing."
"And we aren't doing it now either!" The Heavenly Empress said. "Ah! He's coming! Careful!"
SPLAAASH!
"RAAAAAHHH!"
The Demon King quickly transformed as he flew into the skies, growing more beastly than humanoid and combining its wings into a pair of even more gigantic wings.
His wings rapidly transformed, growing dozens of missile cannons on them, and firing countless missiles at the two Venerables once more.
"More of those?!"
"Dammit! Dodge!"
The two separated for a moment, as they let the missiles chase them separately, and then they converged their flight towards their son, letting the missiles bombard him completely.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
"GRUUAAGH?!"
They smartly managed to let several of the missiles explode on his body, although the damage to him seemed barely anything. This told them that the attacks the Demon King unleashed weren't as lethal against him.
Unless they used the Heavenly Yinyang Shield and unleashed a counterattack, which seemed to carry the energy, but differently, enough to deal great damage instead.
"It's somewhat working, but we don't know for how long!" Said the Heavenly Demon. "Some of the missiles are getting to us! HAAAH!"
He swung his white staff as he destroyed the missiles before they got to him, exploding in midair one after another.
And in that moment.
"SHAAAAHHH!"
The Demon King attacked him from below, its gigantic metallic claws almost cleaving through the Heavenly Demon's body!
CRAAASH!
"S-Shit, he almost got me!"
The Heavenly Demon gritted his teeth, his Aura transforming into a giant black and red crow demon with four muscular arms and six demonic wings.
This was his Manifestation of the power of his Cursed Marks combined together, a being born from all his power at once, an Aura Manifestation Guardian.
"{Heavenly Cursed Seal Arts}: {Diabolical Incarnation of the Seven Hells: King Yanma}!"
RUMBLE!
His Aura Manifestation Guardian rapidly attacked back the Demon King, using its massive fiery fists against him, as explosions of Dark Ki erupted everywhere across its body.
"HAAAHHH!"
BAAM! BAAM! BAAM! BAAM!
The Heavenly Demon gave it his all, as all his power was concentrated on stopping Song from attacking them. His blows attempted to aim at his Meridians and Dantians, but it seemed the Demon King wasn't affected by them being destroyed.
"This thing has no Dantians or Meridians?!" He thought, gritting his teeth. "Then we must tear some of its limbs at the very least—"
"WATCH OUT!"
"Huh?!"
BOOOMMM!!!
Before the Heavenly Demon could react to the words of the Heavenly Empress, twelve missiles hit him at once; he was not even able to see them coming, as if they spawned behind him out of nowhere.
"GRAHAH… HAHAHAHA!"
The Demon King laughed while pointing its fingers at the Heavenly Demon; it was a malicious being born from pure destruction and hatred and enjoyed the suffering of others.
"HAAAH!"
The Heavenly Empress didn't waste time; as the Demon King laughed, she summoned her Imperial Armament at full power!
"{Divine Venerable Imperial Armament}: {Six-Armed Boddhisatva Of Heaven's Redemption}"
BAAM! BAAM! BAAM! BAAM!
Six gigantic golden fists hit the Demon King's face, chest, shoulders, and legs, making it fall into the seas once more as several holes covered with golden flames kept its body damaged and with its energies drained.
"Han Zhenye! Are you okay?!"
After seeing her son plummet into the seas once more, she went to check on her ex-husband, noticing he was alive; the power of King Yanma protected him, although half of it had disappeared.
"I'm fine… Fucking hell, that damn brat!" He complained. "How did he even summon missiles out of thin air?!"
"I think he's growing stronger as he's fighting us!" Said the Heavenly Empress. "He's figuring out his powers somehow… He's called "The Weapon of Destruction" right? And he's a robot of some kind… I wouldn't be surprised if his actual power is to create machinery out of thin air!"
"W-What?!" The Heavenly Demon gasped, realizing the true and terrifying power of the Demon King. "If he mastered such a power, he could destroy the entire world by creating cannons all over the skies…!"
"That's why we cannot spare any more time; it doesn't matter what happens after! We must weaken him enough! Anna's channeling her powers, Song is with her preparing, there's no point in saving more energy…!" She insisted.
"…You're right, whatever threat comes after… We'll figure out another way to deal with it!" the Heavenly Demon nodded. "Now, more than anything… We must save our son!"
With his resolve anew, the Heavenly Demon combined his Powers once more, channeling the Cursed Seals that he had mostly tried to not use, embracing both his sinful darkness and his redeeming light.
"{Divine Venerable Imperial Armament}: {Cursed Axe of Seven Hells}!"
FLUOSH!
A massive and powerful-looking black and red axe manifested out of black and red flames, floating in midair above his hand, at the same time as his white staff transformed, becoming a white axe of similar size.
"GRAAAAHHH!"
The Demon King roared once more, emerging from the waters and rushing towards his parents! This time, his Aura grew larger and expanded…
And as the Heavenly Empress feared, the Demon King was evolving and discovering his powers, as gigantic floating cannons charged with heavenly ki popped out of thin air as if by nothing, surrounding them!
"He's already gotten to this stage?!" She asked as her Armament destroyed two of the seven cannons before they were to fire their lasers.
"It seems to be the case, run!" The Heavenly Demon quickly swung both axes, destroying four more with all his might, before using King Yanma's hand to grab his ex-wife and rush away from the incoming beams.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Narrowly evading death, he quickly spun in midair and then released a cross-shaped slicing wave of black and white ki, destroying the cannons.
"RAAAARRGGH!"
The Demon King appeared behind them at that moment, both of his arms fusing together into yet another, even larger proton cannon.
TRUUUMMM!!!
The beam reached them both within an instant, as the only thing they were able to do before facing the attack was hug one another.
Their auras converged as their emotions controlled their Ki, their thoughts and wills becoming one.
FLAAASH!
