Heavenly Court, Jade Pool!
The Jade Emperor held a jade cup radiating soft light in his hand, quietly sipping wine. On the table before him, there were neither Dragon Gall nor Phoenix Marrow, nor any sacred objects like Ginseng Fruit or Flat Peaches.
What was there seemed to be just a handful of peanuts freshly dug from the earth!
As the Jade Emperor gently pinched open the peanut shell with his fingers, a fragrant kernel appeared in his hand.
"Delicious." After tossing the peanut into his mouth, the Jade Emperor murmured with a trace of enjoyment.
"You little rascal!" The Queen Mother, dressed in the Nine-Phoenix Heaven-Sealing Skirt, walked over slowly, a look of disappointment in her eyes.
"Come, try this. I had people plant it in your Flat Peach Garden. Though lacking in spiritual energy, it tastes quite good." The Jade Emperor grabbed a handful of peanuts and said with a smile to the Queen Mother.
