Most people live their lives with one intention.
Not living life wholeheartedly, but clinging to one thought, indulging deeply, and only when they suddenly look back do they become perplexed.
Huichi seemed the same way. After he encountered the three texts and one treatise, he felt as if he had discovered a brand new world, wholeheartedly seeking Buddha, continuously contemplating Buddha. After inadvertently gaining unbelievable supernatural powers, his resolve to follow Buddha strengthened, thinking only of reaching the Pure Land as described in the "Amitabha Sutra," but never considering what to do after entering the Pure Land.
Not returning?
A single doubt arises, perplexity takes root in the heart, and once perplexity arises, it is truly difficult to sever. In an instant, Huichi was deeply troubled and shouted intensely, "Amitabha."
