What Huichi said, a true practitioner cannot easily understand.
Because true practitioners all possess the right mindset to part with illusions and embrace truth.
What is illusion? What can be extinguished is illusion.
What is truth? What is eternal is truth.
When a great practitioner demonstrates nirvana, it is actually merging illusion with truth; the flesh is nothing but a stinking skin sack, which is illusion, so the six faculties entering the body, are likewise illusion. At the time of perfect nirvana, the four great elements dissolve into emptiness, where there are no desires and no more six faculties—eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, and mind—if one truly understands this principle, one knows that at the time of perfect nirvana, one is in a subtle and profound state.
At that time, one cannot hear any sound.
