Chapter 2267 - Chapter 2267: The Path to Eternity

The Buddha's words are countless, yet never stray from one meaning: the illusion ceases, therefore the non-illusion does not cease.

What does not cease is the eternal.

Isn't the purpose of seeing one's true nature to see the eternal?

What will eventually fade away is but an illusion.

Do you believe there is something that will not fade away?

The enlightened have discovered that there is something eternal in this world, but it is certainly not the human body and consciousness, nor the realms that the body and consciousness can reach. Therefore, the myriad teachings of Buddhism point in one direction: to tell you how to use right enlightenment to find that which is eternal and to become one with it.

That's all.

It sounds more mystical than fantasy, more magical than magic, yet unlike the human pursuit of longevity that has failed to break its limits for thousands of years, Buddhism clearly demonstrates the steps to reach the eternal, even more scientifically than science itself.
