The boos were volcanic. The entire stadium was shaking from the fury of more than seventy thousand voices raining hatred down on Sandro and his Undisputed System. Fans threw their hands up, screamed insults, and some even turned their backs in protest.
Cole, however, couldn't contain himself. He was practically bouncing in his seat. "He's done it! He's done it again! At just twenty years old, Sandro Zhang has not only debuted at WrestleMania, but he has WON! He has defeated giants, legends, prodigies, and he did it by assembling the most dangerous group this industry has ever seen! The Undisputed System is back, and WWE will never, ever be the same! This is the dawn of a new era!"
Lawler dropped his headset for a moment, burying his face in his hands before picking it back up. His voice cracked with frustration. "This is the darkest WrestleMania moment I've ever witnessed. How could they let this happen? How could they allow this kid to spit on Andre's legacy, to tarnish everything this trophy was supposed to stand for?! It's sickening, Cole! Absolutely sickening!"
Striker exhaled slowly, his voice steady, but the weight of the moment heavy. "Like it or not, gentlemen, history has been made. This isn't just a WrestleMania moment. This is a tectonic shift. Wrestling's foundation has just been shaken, and the Undisputed System is the hammer that caused the crack. Every single book written about WrestleMania after tonight will have this moment carved into its pages."
Sandro rolled out of the ring, Alexa at his side, Wade, Drew, Big E, and Ryback following close behind. They walked to the ringside area where the massive golden Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royale trophy stood.
Sandro paused in front of it, sweat glistening under the lights. He placed both hands on the gleaming statue, claiming it as his own. The fans showered him with venomous boos, but Sandro only smiled wider, basking in their hatred. Alexa clapped proudly beside him, while the rest of the Undisputed System stood tall like soldiers guarding their king.
The camera zoomed in tight on Sandro's face as he mouthed the words, "We run this now."
And in that moment, the world knew it was true.
WrestleMania had crowned its first Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royale winner.
But more importantly, WrestleMania had witnessed the rebirth of chaos. The Undisputed System reunited here at WWE. And nothing would ever be the same again.
The atmosphere inside the University of Phoenix Stadium was still buzzing like a live wire. Fans hadn't fully recovered from what they had just witnessed, the shocking rebirth of the Undisputed System at WrestleMania.
The boos hadn't even died down when the speakers blasted with a new sound, the official theme of the Undisputed System. The bass rattled through the massive arena, the kind of theme that screamed dominance and inevitability.
The camera zoomed in on Sandro at ringside, his hand gripping tightly onto the golden Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royale trophy. He was drenched in sweat, but his smirk was as sharp as a knife. With Alexa by his side, holding onto his arm like she owned the stage just as much as he did, and Wade, Drew, Big E, and Ryback forming a wall behind him, the six of them started their slow, deliberate walk up the long ramp.
The fans poured hatred on them with every step. Some were red in the face from screaming, others simply booed until their voices cracked. A handful even threw their hands up in disgust, turning their backs to the spectacle, as if by refusing to watch, they could erase the sight from their memories. But Sandro? He reveled in it.
Halfway up the ramp, he stopped dead in his tracks. The rest of the group paused behind him, and Alexa glanced up curiously at him. Then, Sandro turned slowly to face the sea of seventy thousand plus fans, their voices crashing over him like a tidal wave. With a wide, wicked grin, he hoisted the gleaming Andre trophy above his head, raising it to the sky like a conqueror holding the spoils of war.
The boos hit a new level, shaking the stadium to its very core. And just as the camera caught the pure venom of the crowd raining down on the Undisputed System, pyro exploded across the stage, blinding gold and white sparks erupting high into the air, thundering in sync with Sandro's triumphant pose.
"This is it," Cole shouted over the spectacle, his voice overflowing with excitement. "This is the coronation! At twenty years old, Sandro Zhang has just planted his flag at WrestleMania, and with the Undisputed System by his side, no one, NO ONE, can stop him!"
Lawler shook his head furiously. "This isn't a coronation, Cole, this is a crime scene! He just turned Andre's name into a prop for his ego, and now he's got his thugs back with him! How can you celebrate this?!"
Striker's tone was calm but deliberate. "Gentlemen, you're both right in your own ways. Love him or hate him, we're staring at something seismic. History doesn't care if it's fair. History doesn't care if it's honorable. What matters is impact. And tonight, the Undisputed System has made its impact felt across the entire wrestling world."
With the boos echoing louder than the pyro, Sandro finally turned and disappeared behind the curtain with Alexa and his crew following close. The chaos in the stadium lingered, but now it was time for WrestleMania to move forward.
The crowd still buzzing, the cameras cut back to ringside as Justin Roberts prepared for the next bout.
The WWE Unified Tag Team Championship was next on the card. John Morrison and R-Truth, the charismatic champions, defended against Cryme Tyme,JTG and Shad Gaspard.
From the opening bell, both teams came out swinging, showing chemistry and hunger. Morrison's aerial ability blended seamlessly with Truth's speed, while Cryme Tyme's power and gritty street-smart style gave them the upper hand in bursts.
The crowd, still reeling from Sandro's stunt, found themselves pulled back into the match by sheer athleticism. Morrison dazzled with his parkour-inspired offense, leaping from the ropes with precision.
R-Truth matched his partner's energy, throwing stiff kicks and explosive punches. But Shad and JTG fought back with their brute strength and tag-team psychology, cutting the ring in half and punishing Truth for long stretches.
The climax came when Morrison made a desperate hot tag, exploding into the ring with a flurry of offense. After chaos erupted with all four men brawling, Truth managed to drop Shad to the outside.
Morrison followed up by hitting Starship Pain on JTG, and with Truth nailing his finisher right before it, the champions secured the pinfall. The referee's hand slapped three, and Morrison and Truth retained the titles.
Cole put it best. "What a fight! Cryme Tyme brought everything they had, but tonight belongs to Morrison and Truth! The tag division just keeps heating up!"
The crowd cheered the hard fought win, the boos for Sandro briefly forgotten, though the shadow of what had happened earlier still hung over the arena.
The pace didn't slow down. Up next was the implosion of Legacy, as Randy Orton faced off against Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase Jr. in a triple threat match.
Right from the start, Cody and Ted worked together like vipers, punishing their former leader with stiff strikes and double team maneuvers. The fans jeered, knowing Orton was the most hated man in WWE just a year earlier, but tonight, against his former protégés, he suddenly had the crowd's sympathy.
Orton absorbed the punishment, his body writhing with every double team slam, but as the match went on, cracks formed in the alliance between Cody and Ted. Their desire to prove themselves as singles stars began to outweigh their partnership. Orton, like the predator he was, sensed the weakness and waited.
The breaking point came when Ted tried to steal a pin from Cody after a big move. The two argued, shoving each other, and Orton pounced with a vicious double DDT. The crowd roared as Orton coiled in the corner, slamming the mat in rhythm. First, Ted rose, RKO out of nowhere! Cody staggered to his feet,RKO again! The Viper covered Ted, and the referee counted three.
The crowd erupted, Orton victorious. Legacy was shattered, and the Viper stood tall again.
Then came one of the most chaotic matches of the night, the Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
Ten men,Jack Swagger, MVP, Christian, Finlay, Evan Bourne, Matt Hardy, Shelton Benjamin, Santino Marella, Chris Masters, and even Matt Striker, climbed into the ring to fight for the coveted briefcase hanging above.
From the opening bell, it was carnage. Ladders crashed, bodies flew, and the audience was on fire. Bourne delivered a breathtaking Shooting Star Press off a ladder to the outside.
Shelton Benjamin performed his trademark insane spots, leaping from ladder to ladder with no fear. Matt Hardy and Christian reignited their rivalry, each desperate to outdo the other.
The brutality left bodies strewn across the mat, fans gasping with every crash. Finally, after twenty minutes of chaos, Jack Swagger found himself alone at the top of the ladder. Struggling to unclasp the briefcase, his fingers slipped again and again until, finally, he yanked it free.
The boos were loud, but the message was clear: Jack Swagger was Mr. Money in the Bank.
The show rolled on with Rey Mysterio facing CM Punk in a high stakes battle. If Mysterio lost, he'd be forced to join Punk's Straight Edge Society. Punk, flanked by Luke Gallows and Serena, was merciless, taunting Mysterio and the fans while using his disciples to create constant interference.
But Mysterio fought like his life depended on it. He flew around the ring with his signature speed, ducking Gallows' interference and countering Punk's brutal strikes.
The climax came when Punk lined up for the GTS, only for Rey to counter into a hurricanrana that sent Punk crashing into the ropes. The crowd knew what was next, 619! Punk collapsed, and Mysterio followed up with a Frog Splash to score the victory.
The fans erupted, Punk fuming on the outside as Rey celebrated his freedom from the Society.
But the chaos was far from over.
Next was the No Holds Barred Lumberjack Match, Bret "The Hitman" Hart versus Mr. McMahon. Bruce Prichard was the special guest referee, and the match had all the makings of a cathartic moment for Bret. The lumberjacks surrounded the ring, ready to prevent Vince's escape.
The match began with Vince trying to weasel out of every confrontation, but the lumberjacks forced him back into Bret's hands again and again. Bret punished Vince methodically, relishing the payback years in the making.
And then, the arena erupted again.
Th Undisputed System music hit.
The Undisputed System marched down the ramp like a firing squad. The lumberjacks tried to stand their ground, but Wade, Drew, Big E, and Ryback cut through them like a blade, tossing bodies aside. Sandro, with Alexa at his side, climbed the apron, his sinister smile aimed straight at Bret.
Inside the ring, Vince laughed hysterically, pointing at Bret. "It's over! Surrender now, Bret! Surrender before they tear you apart!"
But Bret shook his head, his jaw tight, eyes burning with defiance. "I'll never surrender."
Vince's smile vanished. He screamed for Sandro and his crew to get inside and finish Bret.
The fans screamed in rage as Sandro took one slow step onto the apron, only for the lumberjacks to rally. Like a wave crashing back, they surged up, dragging the Undisputed System from the apron and forcing them to retreat. The crowd roared as Bret turned the tide. Moments later, Vince was locked in the Sharpshooter, screaming in agony, before finally tapping out.
The roof nearly blew off the arena. Bret had his revenge.
The night rolled forward, and next came the World Heavyweight Championship match. Chris Jericho, the smug champion, defended against the returning Royal Rumble winner, Edge.
The match was everything fans hoped for, technical brilliance, high drama, and raw intensity. Jericho targeted Edge's injured Achilles, while Edge fought with pure grit, the crowd firmly behind him.
Near falls came one after another, both men barely surviving each other's finishers. Finally, Edge dodged a Codebreaker, rebounded off the ropes, and speared Jericho nearly in half.
The crowd exploded. Edge wasn't done, he hit a second massive spear, this time sealing the deal. The referee counted three, and the stadium erupted as Edge became the new World Heavyweight Champion. Pyro blasted, fans chanted his name, and Edge stood tall with the title raised high.
