The laughter filled the hallway, deep, booming, genuine laughter that only comes when the tension finally breaks after a night like WrestleMania. But it didn't last long. The door opened, and suddenly, the air shifted. Walking into the room was Vince McMahon himself, flanked by none other than the Undertaker, Triple H, and Shawn Michaels.
The chatter died immediately. The five members of the Undisputed System straightened instinctively, Alexa adjusting herself beside Sandro. It wasn't fear, but it was respect. The kind of respect that came when legends of the business stepped into the room.
Vince, with his sharp suit and that ever calculating look in his eyes, was the first to speak. "Gentlemen. And lady." His voice was firm, commanding, yet strangely approving. "Quite a night, wasn't it? You all did one hell of a job out there tonight."
Wade, Drew, Big E, Ryback, and Alexa all said their thanks, nodding respectfully. "Thank you, sir," they said almost in unison.
Vince tilted his head, a slight smirk tugging at his lips. "Now, don't get me wrong, it wasn't perfect. Little rough around the edges, maybe lacking some finesse in spots. But for a debut? For a WrestleMania debut?" He paused, then clapped his hands together sharply. "Damn good work."
Relief mixed with pride washed over the group. Alexa's eyes lit up, Big E beamed, and even the stoic Drew allowed himself a small smile.
Then Vince turned, his gaze locking on Sandro. For a moment, silence stretched in the air. Then, with a rare show of approval, Vince patted Sandro's shoulder firmly. "And you… you delivered. You wanted the ball, I gave it to you, and you ran with it. That's what I like to see. Remember, opportunities like this don't come often. You make the most of them. "Now, I'll leave you to it. I've got a company to run." And just like that, he strode out.
And with Vince leaving all of them alone, his presence was like a storm passing through the room, heavy and then light. Undertaker, Triple H, and Shawn stayed behind. Their expressions were less about authority, and more about respect.
The Deadman's gravelly voice cut through the quiet first. "You boys did good tonight. All of you. Especially you," he said, nodding at Alexa. "Not easy to step onto this stage with so little time under your belt. Youngest in the room, shortest career, and you already got your first WrestleMania moment. You held your own, not bad at all."
Alexa, cheeks flushing pink, bowed her head slightly. "Thank you… really. That means a lot."
Triple H, ever the joker even with his gruff tone, smirked and leaned forward. "Well, it's not like we didn't expect her to be good. I mean, she's been training with Sandro. And considering the kind of 'training' those two probably get up to…"
Alexa's face went scarlet in an instant. She slapped his arm with a mock scowl while everyone else burst into laughter. Sandro chuckled low, shaking his head.
"The nature of our relationship," Sandro said, smirking as he looked over at Triple H, "has nothing to do with the talent and work she puts into her training, don't go giving me credit where it's not due. She's here because she earned it. Don't get it twisted."
Triple H held his hands up in mock surrender, still grinning. "Hey, hey, I'm just saying…"
That earned a round of nods and murmurs of approval, and as the laughter eased the tension, Sandro turned toward Shawn. For a moment, the smirk faded, replaced by sincerity. He extended his hand.
"Congratulations on your retirement, Shawn. Hell of a way to go out." Sandro said, his voice low but steady.
Shawn, weary but smiling, grasped his hand firmly. "Thank you, kid. Tonight… tonight was something else. And honestly? It wouldn't have been this good without you. You made the story bigger. Better. Your arrival, your rivalry with me, it all made this story bigger. Better. Gave it that edge. You made my final chapter unforgettable."
Sandro blinked, taken aback for a second, before Shawn paused for a moment then continue, his eyes glimmering. "And the way you've involved your friends? That's rare in this business. You're giving them chances most guys wouldn't. That's kindness, whether you admit it or not. That's not selfishness. That's giving back. That's helping the business."
For once, Sandro didn't have a quip ready. He simply smiled, shaking his head. "I'm just doing what I want to do. Not thinking about it like that. Let's not get too sentimental, yeah? Let's just enjoy the ride."
Everyone chuckled at that, shaking their heads.
Undertaker, his expression unreadable but his tone softer than usual, finally spoke again. "We'll leave you to it. You've earned the celebration. I'm sure you've got plenty of catching up to do."
With that, the three legends, Undertaker, Triple H, and Shawn, took their leave, the weight of their presence lifting from the room.
As soon as the door closed, Sandro slipped his arm around Alexa's waist, pulling her close. He glanced at his friends, his brothers, and grinned.
"I booked us a private room at a restaurant nearby," he announced. "Let's keep this going. We've got couple of months to catch up on. And I don't know about you guys, but I'm starving. Let's take this celebration there. Late dinner, drinks, laughs, and the works."
Big E whooped, Wade smirked, Drew nodded, and Ryback's stomach even growled audibly, making everyone laugh again.
And with that, the Undisputed System, bruised but proud, walked out together. For them, WrestleMania wasn't just the end of a show. It was the beginning of something bigger.
So they went toward the restaurant Sandro had promised, a sleek little place just off the main road, where the owner had cleared out a private room for them. It was late, nearly midnight, but none of them cared. They had just shocked the world, and adrenaline still ran hot in their veins.
The staff hurried to set down trays of food, steaming steaks, baskets of fries, plates of pasta, and platters of chicken wings, .as well as glasses of cold beer and sodas. The Undisputed System filled the room with laughter, the kind that comes after weeks of stress finally find release.
Wade leaned back in his chair, nursing a pint, and said, "You know, mate, when we walked out there, I swear I could feel the heat. That wasn't just boos. That was pure hatred. And I loved every damn second of it."
Big E, already halfway through a plate of wings, grinned wide. "They hated us, but they'll remember us. That's the thing about WrestleMania, you only get one shot at your first impression. And boy, did we leave one."
Drew smirked, raising his glass. "To the future, then. To making this the start of something they can't ignore."
Ryback slammed his glass against Drew's in a toast. "Feed me more nights like this."
Everyone laughed again, and Alexa clinked her soda against Sandro's drink. "See? I told you all. He knew what he was doing."
Sandro leaned back, arm draped casually over her chair. "Relax. It's only the beginning. Tonight was the spark, but what's coming next? That's the fire. And we'll burn down everything in our way."
Hours passed in that room. Stories flowed, old road tales, training sessions, Alexa teasing Sandro about how serious he got when showing her wristlocks, Wade recalling his first time meeting Vince, Drew reflecting on his rocky early WWE stint and how this time was different. Food came and went. By the time midnight rolled into the early hours of morning, the table was littered with empty glasses and satisfied smiles.
"This," Ryback said, leaning back with a heavy sigh, "this is the start of something special. People might boo us, they might hate us, but you watch, they'll never ignore us again."
Sandro grinned, pulling Alexa close against him. "Exactly. Tonight wasn't the end of anything. It was just the beginning."
Two days later, the dust from WrestleMania still hadn't settled. The world couldn't stop talking about what Sandro and his crew had done. Clips of the attack on Shawn Michaels, Undertaker's failed save, and DX's shocking return replayed across sports shows, YouTube, and podcasts.
Analysts debated endlessly, was this disrespect at its peak, or the boldest power play WWE had seen in years? Whatever side they were on, everyone agreed, fans couldn't look away.
And now, it was time for the Raw after WrestleMania.
Denver, Colorado, was jam packed, the Pepsi Center shaking from the roar of thousands of fans. The Raw after Mania always carried its own electricity, but this year felt different. Bigger. Everyone wanted answers. Would Sandro and the Undisputed System speak first, rubbing salt in the wounds they'd caused? Or would Triple H, Shawn, DX, and maybe even the Undertaker step out to declare war?
As fans filed in, chants already echoed, "DX! DX!" countered by boos for "Undisputed sucks!" The hard camera swept across the crowd, grown men in DX shirts, kids with neon green signs, and a sea of homemade posters mocking Sandro.
One read, Sandro = Coward. Another said, You ruined Shawn's moment. But just as many signs bore grudging admiration: Shock the System scrawled in bold letters, Undisputed Takeover, and even one that cheekily read, Alexa carried Sandro.
The opening pyro exploded, painting the arena in red, white, and gold sparks. The crowd erupted in cheers, standing as Cole's voice rang from commentary.
"Welcome, everyone, to Monday Night Raw! Live from Denver, Colorado, and let me tell you, King, the fallout from WrestleMania is going to make this one of the wildest Raws in history!"
Jerry Lawler leaned in with his trademark excitement. "That's right, Cole! WrestleMania gave us unforgettable moments, Undertaker extending the streak, Shawn Michaels saying goodbye, but then Sandro and his Undisputed System crashed the party and ruined everything! Tonight, we're going to see what happens next!"
The crowd was already buzzing, stomping their feet, clapping, when suddenly the lights dimmed.
"ARE YOU READY?"
The words boomed through the arena, and the place exploded. Green strobes lit the stage as the DX theme kicked in.
The fans went absolutely insane as the iconic DX jeep rolled out, headlights blaring. Inside were Triple H, Shawn Michaels, X-Pac, and Tori, with Road Dogg and Billy Gunn hanging off the sides like wild men, swinging glow sticks and riling up the crowd. All of them wore DX shirts, the neon green letters glowing under the lights.
Cole nearly shouted over the chaos. "It's DX! The band is back together, King!"
Lawler, grinning ear to ear, clapped his hands. "And listen to this crowd! I don't think this building's going to survive the night!"
The jeep rumbled down the ramp and screeched to a halt ringside. The group piled out, climbing into the ring. Road Dogg and Billy Gunn hit the turnbuckles, chopping crotches toward the hard cam, while X-Pac bounced on his heels in the middle. Tori glared toward the stage with fire in her eyes.
Triple H stood center stage, Shawn at his side, while Road Dogg and Gunn dropped down and tossed glow sticks into the sea of fans. Then, green pyro blasted into the sky in the shape of a giant X, rattling the building.
Road Dogg grabbed the mic first, his voice booming. "Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls!" The fans roared back, finishing the line with him. "Tonight the D-Generation X proudly brings to you!" The place shook as Road Dogg launched into the classic New Age Outlaws introduction, Gunn pumping his fist beside him, the crowd chanting every word of the New Age Outlaws' introduction.
Then Triple H took the mic, his tone turning serious. He looked around the arena, the cheers still rumbling like thunder, and growled, "Are you ready?" The crowd screamed back, louder and louder, until he bellowed it again, voice shaking the rafters. "I said… ARE YOU READY?!"
The fans nearly blew the roof off.
Then his voice dropped low, deadly serious. "You know, WrestleMania was supposed to be history. It was supposed to be one of the most honorable moments this business has ever seen. Shawn Michaels, my brother, the Heartbreak Kid, standing toe to toe with the Phenom, the Undertaker. Win or lose, that was his moment. And the Undertaker was the better man. That's how it should've ended."
