Chapter 287 - 1

Five Elements Chaos Dragon and Origin Yin Butterfly

"Damn, I forged a rare grade sword again, though I have Ascended to the higher realm and it is much more powerful than a legendary mortal weapon, I still need 100M points in my BR to reach 500M." Yue was playing a Cultivation game in his computer.

Primordial Gathering, a Cultivation game that has three paths you can choose from.

The Demonic Path which was for Player killers and the rest.

The Heavenly path which was for righteous players.

The Beast Path which was for try hards and people who genuinely just love the thrill of danger...or furries.

Yue was of course a Beast cultivator and he rolled a rather strange beast on his arrival on the game. The Five Elements Chaos Dragon and then he rolled a companion who was an Origin Yin Butterfly making Yue one of the strongest players in the game.

But that was all, once he reached Nascent soul and obtained a human form, his Cultivation just stopped and he could not advance further to a curse that was placed in him by the 'Heavens'"Aka The Admins", Saying this is the limit for this race and he needed to start from scratch...but Yue is persistent.

If he could not advance further. That's fine, he would just endlessly forge materials until they all reach legendary then enhance them by 100 at thatvtime he was only at 100M BR, but now he is close to reaching the stage of an Early stage Incarnation cultivator.

While he continued his forging, he stopped when a notification from an Admin appeared in front of him.

"...hmmm, Well it seems you really are persistent Quiline, I respect that, despite needing you, you grinned materials and made weapons to make up for your stagnant Cultivation...but you see I never thought a twelve year old orphan would find a way to play this game....so now I fee guilty. So as the power vested in me, I will grant you compensation"

Yue who was about to type something suddenly froze.

"From this moment"

A voice came from within his room.

"Using the Heavenly Mandate that connects between the Planar worlds, I, The Great Entertainer gives you the fate of Quiline"

Before he knew it...Yue fell into darkness as his mind was submerged within a dark lethargy.

....

Die Yan throughout all her time staying with her companion from Qi refining to Nascent soul did not age even when she gained a human form.

She was twelve physically just like her beloved thay was lying on her lap sleeping peacefully, his white hair was astonishing and his multicoloured antlers shined with the grace of the clements.

She felt the spiritual energy of heaven and earth shift as she felt her beloved awakening. "Quiline, I think we Ascended to another realm, I felt an immeasurable consciousness pass by us earlier."

Quiline didn't talk as he slowly devoured the memories of this body, Yan's scent was flowery and intoxicating as always and it helped him calm down a bit..

He said up and glanced at Yan, her eyes were a deep Amethyst, her skin was pale but had a natural beauty to it, she had two antennas on her forehead and faded purple hair, behind her were two slightly small wings.

Chapter 2: A Major world

Yan tilted her head and Quiline who was once Yue regained his senses, he observed his surroundings, he was in a very large room, his eyes then moved to Yan.

Her cute reaction brought a smile to his face. "It seems we have Ascended to a Major realm, I do wonder how I was using you as a pillow though."

Yan smiled and covered her mouth slightly as shevlet out a small laugh. "Quiline, you were unconscious for three days and nights, luckily the Five Elements Chaos Abode and my Origin Yin abode activated before that happened...I thought it would be safer form me to stay with you."

"Ah, so you put me there, that's nice." Quiline said, his molten gold eyes gazing at her passionately..

[Idle Demon Beast Cultivation][Name:Quiline. Companion:Yan]

[Beast type:Five Elements Chaos Dragon]

[Realm: Nascent Soul Early(Incarnation Middle)]

[BR:499,999,999]

[Inventory]

[Cultivation:1,000,000/200,000,000]

A simple system but why is it called Idle when he can't even passively gather qi...well it doesn't matter

He reached out to Yan and gently traced her antenna making her flinch a bit, she didn't stop him though.

She felt as he traced them, she was trying to hold back a reaction due to the sensitivity she was feeling.

After a while Quiline stopped teasing her. Yan let out a slight breath she was holding back. "...you're mean."

Yan pouted and Quiline just laughed it off, he then stood up. "Don't be like that, I just wanted to see you flustered but it seems you really are an ice queen, well am ice queen with a little bit more emotion."

Yan simply sighed and she stood too, dusting her robes, she held Quiline's arm and then pulled him closer until they were facing each other. "Can you feel the presence of Multiple Incarnation cultivator outside and alo I can sense traces of a Void Refinement senior."

Quiline nodded, the pressure they were giving of was....pathetic, but that maybe because he has multiple weapons that were forged by him. He had 50 legendary weapons and three Mythical ones.

After making three of those mythical weapons, he lost his willpower to gather materials and decided to make legendary weapons instead.

With a knowing smile he spoke. "It's natural I guess, they might be tense because of a large structure suddenly appearing in their world for three days and the owner didn't come out, so let's go."

Suddenly a five coloured light and a silver light overlapped with each other, the two Abodes began to shrink and entered the Dantians of Quiline and Yan respectively, vanishing in a swirl of ethereal energy. As they entered their bodies, their auras pulsed briefly—Quiline's radiating chaotic elemental might, and Yan's shimmering with a serene yet ancient yin presence.

Outside the abode, the cultivators had formed a loose perimeter. Dozens of figures floated in the air, hovering around the vast clearing where the two had landed.

Most were Incarnation stage experts, dressed in the colors and symbols of various sects and clans, their expressions a mix of caution and greed. One, however, sat cross-legged above them all—an old man with sunken eyes and an emaciated frame.

The Void Refinement expert. He did not speak, but his presence was like a blade hanging in the air, ready to drop.

As Quiline and Yan stepped into view, the entire crowd grew tense. Some lowered themselves slightly in instinctive deference. Others clutched their weapons tighter.

"So it was a Beast cultivator after all," one man spat, eyes narrowing. "A dragon, no less."

"And a human girl... or is she something else?" another murmured, sensing Yan's origin energy.

Quiline scanned them calmly, but Yan squeezed his arm gently. Her voice was soft, but carried clearly into his mind through their shared link. "Let me speak first. We don't need to fight yet."

He gave a small nod.

Yan took a step forward, her aura shifting, coalescing into a serene frost-laced domain that silenced the wind itself. Her eyes met the Void Refinement elder's.

"We came here by accident," she said. "We mean no harm—"

"And yet you arrive in a palace that warps space, disrupts Dragon veins, and sits unmoving for three days." The elder's voice was dry, like wind brushing old parchment. "You are no mere wanderers."

Suddenly a presence descended down on everyone in the surroundings. The void Refinement elder turned towards Quiline.

Behind him Five runes representing the five elements Spun around him, he was still smiling but there was an enormous amount of savage intent in it. "hmm, you cut her off? , do you desire...war?, I wouldn't mind unleashing the Five Elements Chaos on you."

The void Refinement elder clicked his tongue. "How can an Early Nascent soul unleash a pressure comparable to a Mid grade Incarnation cultivator and to look that young too."

Yan placed a hand on Quiline's chest, he stared down at her then slowly calmed down, the characters behind him faded into spiritual energy. "I apologize for my outburst but we just Ascended to this realm due to the world I originate from deeming I was too strong to stay there anymore, I once again apologize for threatening you."

The void Refinement elder sighed. "Very well, I too apologise for my actions, now then since this has been taken care of, you sects can disappear from here and go to your various lands."

The cultivatore murmured before they all began to disperse leaving only the three in the field. The void Refinement elder descended down from the sky. "My name is Jin Yuan an elder of the Azure Dragon sect."

Yan also bowed. "I am Die Yan, an Origin Yin Butterfly."

Quiline also bowed with a smile on his face. "Quiline, a Five Elements Chaos Dragon and I am an excellent weapon maker."

Jin Yuan's eyes glinted. "Oh, can I see one of your crafts then."

Quiline narrowed his eyes, Yue was unwilling to show anybody his weapons but...currently he was both Yue and Quiline, he might be young...but benevolence...yeah that disappeared the day his parents died.

But showing off might make his journey in this world smoother.

He reached into the void and into his inventory.

The skies seem to darken as the energy of heaven and earth began to rampage, clouds were ridden in the sky as golden lightning snaked through the sky.

Jin Yuan's eyes suddenly widened. "Wait don't bring it out?!!."

Quiline raised an eyebrow and stopped and brought his hands back from the void, the storm clouds in the sky scattered and the qi returned to normal.

Jin Yuan looked at Quiline as if he was a monster...which he was but how could someone be capable enough to make a weapon strong enough to envoke a Heavenly tribulation .

Yan moved closer to him, her brows furrowed in concern. "Is it always like that when you summon your Mythical weapons?"

Quiline thought about it, when he was Yue and when he made a Mythical Weapon, a curse would be placed on him for about seven minutes then that was it. The heavens would calm down and that would never happen again, but it seems since all of his weapons became real, a Heavenly tribulation might happen to have access to them. "Well no but I think that [Something] reset the access of the weapons."

"You meant that [Thing] that brought us here." Yan asked curiously.

Quiline frowned, he forgot his name...but he knew how he got here...strange, maybe he cannot recall the name of a True Immortal.

Anyways he sighed. "Anyways. We won't join your sect but we would pass by it sooner or later and we can work out something Jin Yuan, now I just want to spend some time with my little butterfly."

Yan blushed faintly at Quiline's words, though she tried to maintain her cool demeanor. Jin Yuan gave a soft chuckle, shaking his head in disbelief.

"To be young again," he mused, then turned serious. "Very well. The Azure Dragon Sect will not hinder your path. But know this—many eyes are now upon you. A palace descending from the heavens, a Chaos Dragon with a smithing Dao so profound that even Heaven reacts... there will be those who seek you not with courtesy, but with chains."

Quiline's expression grew cold. "Let them try."

Yan lightly tugged at his sleeve. "Let's go. There's no need to linger here."

As the two turned away, Jin Yuan called out one last time. "Quiline. If ever you need sanctuary or forge-space... the Azure Dragon Sect's inner mountain will be opened to you."

Quiline raised a hand in acknowledgement, then the two vanished in a flicker of overlapping light—chaotic hues interlacing with cool silvery mist, leaving behind only the soft hum of residual spiritual energy.

...

A large white dragon large enough to cast a shadow upon a small continent flew across the skies, an oppressive aura following it.

It terrifeied the inhabitants of the entire continent.

But that was not the only thing that made them piss their pants. A butterfly equally as large followed behind it making snow flakes fall to the ground and freeze some places with an eternal frost.

The five elements Chaos Dragon and the Origin Yin Butterfly flew together with an underlying Grace.

Soon the two returned to their humanoid forms and slowly descended down to the ground on an large and vast mountain. "This feels like a good place to set out Abodes, what do you think yan."

Yan's wings fluttered, her Amethyst eyes scanning the place. "It's not bad and the spiritual energy is dense, the Demon beasts here are all in the Golden vore stage so we should be safe."

Chapter 3: Abode Placement and Domain management

Quiline smiled and then went behind her putting his arms around her neck. "Mmm~, I think it's also a nice place to stay."

Yan pouted as she placed her own arms on his. "Come on, I'm being serious."

Quiline laughed and his arms only tighten around her making Yan to slightly turn her head to look at him. Quiline teased her. "Come on, stop being like that, I'm only joking."

Yan sighed, she loved Quiline, she really does, but sometimes he is just too chaotic...might be because he is a Five Elements Chaos Dragon but who knows. "I know you are, you can flirt with me later after we are done setting up our Abodes."

Quiline let go and then patted her back. "OK my love, we shall do that."

Quiline's arm pulsed with five colours and then a gold token the size of a fist with five colours appeard above his palm.

It was an Array to integrate his Abode in a natural landmass, Yan also did as he did and a silver token appeared above her palm with an Amethyst colour on it.

Quiline let the token go and it then embedded itself on the wall of the mountain. Yan's own moved towards his and then his split Into five from the middle and then Yan's token shimmered with ethereal light before slotting perfectly into the center of the now-flower-like formation created by Quiline's array.

The tops of the mountains melted and pure spiritual energy rose up to the sky as the energy of the Five Elements Chaos made the sky darken as clouds gathered at the peaks.

Then pure Origin Yin merged with it.

Soon the mountain collapsed and a courtyard began to form with the five elements and Yin.

Soon within seconds a large Pagoda that was gold and each floor had the color of the Five Elements and the top of the pagoda was a silver floor that was decorated with butterfly patterns.

The pagoda was wrapped by the statue of a golden dragon. Outside the pagoda were flowers, trees, two buildings, lights that floated around a large lake.

In the center of the lake floated a small island, and upon it stood a stone platform shaped like a blooming lotus. The water around the island shimmered with a soft glow, reflecting the five elemental colors dancing across the sky. Occasionally, arcs of yin energy would ripple across the surface, calming the chaotic aura and giving it a serene elegance.

It signifies rhe relationship of Yan and Quiline, Quiline is a chaotic being but Die Yan exists to soothe him, to make sure he isn't too chaotic and Quiline doesn't mind.

"Finally, a familiar sight, I can't wait to sleep, will you join me Quiline." Die Yan cheerfully said.

Quiliine raised his eyebrow, as a Nascent soul she really doesn't need that buuut...she is a being that is made up of Origin Yin so indulging in such things like that isn't abnormal. "No, I need to set up a few formations, maybe enslave a few Demon beasts and make them mine some spiritual metals and stones, and maybe make them farm spiritual plants and trees."

Yan's arms drooped down disappointedly. "...fine if your done I will be in my room, you can join me by then."

She flapped her wings and then entered through the gates and then I to the pagoda, She was probably upset and Quiline knew, he scratched his cheek and then shrugged, he would make it up to her later.

[Hello Quiline]

"Hello, so you decided to speak after my companion left?." He asked more with curiosity than amusement.

[Affirmative, she cannot perceive my existence as you do]

Quiline smiled and then floated upwards. "OK, but how do you exactly work, aren't you called Idle Demonic Beast Cultivation?, I don't see you being Idle."

[Affirmative, you have not given me access to the dragon veins so I cannot extract energy from them]

"Go ahead then, I give you access and while you do that, tell me mire of your functions."

[Permission Granted. Accessing Local Dragon Veins...]

The moment Quiline gave his approval, he felt a subtle tremor run through the mountain beneath him. A network of invisible threads—dense with raw, untapped energy—began to reveal themselves faintly to his senses. The dragon veins beneath the mountain stirred as if awakened by an ancient call.

[Synchronization Complete. You have connected to 3 Minor and 1 Major Dragon Vein. Passive cultivation will now commence. Estimated yield: 9,800 Spiritual Qi per minute]

[Initiating Overview of System Functions...]

Quiline nodded his head, the system was...fair and it really is Idle, the rest of the functions, he needs to pay money to use them or there is a catch to them.

He shrugged and then just decided to find all Demonic beasts in the mountain and enslave them...or just give them a choice if he is feeling merciful.

"Okay then uhm I'll just call you Ban, is that okay with you?."

[Name registered: Ban]

[Designation: System Interface "Ban" successfully acknowledged. Personalized interactions initialized.]

Quiline chuckled. "Alright, Ban. Let's get to work. Mark all demonic beasts within a fifty-mile radius of this mountain."

[Scanning... 3,206 signatures detected. Filtering by intelligence... 482 possess sentience. Filtering by aggression... 97 pose a moderate to high threat. Displaying map overlay.]

A golden disc formed in front of Quiline, showing the mountain range in layered detail. Dots of different colors shimmered: red for hostile, blue for neutral, green for peaceful. A few larger golden marks pulsed slowly—likely the more powerful beasts.

He tapped a claw lightly against one of the red marks. "So about 482 Golden cores and maybe 92 Nascent souls or above. Easily Manageable I guess."

He then sunk his hands into the void in front of him and brought out a thin blade that made the spiritual energy in the air move a little. "Legendary Weapon No.5, a weak blade but has the potential to form a weapon spirit and become a Mythical Weapon, Named by me as, Red Riding Hoods Basket. I wonder why I gave it such a name."

Quiline remembered, he gave it that name because of how everytime he killed something with it, it would appear on the blade as food symbols, maybe it replayed the favourite snack of the thing it killed and just etched it on itself as a memory. "...I didn't give it a description like the rest if my legendary weapons, but maybe I definitely should."

He didn't think about it, it was not the time to describe things now, he was energetic and wanted to cause chaos just for the love of it and also to ruin the calmness of this bland and utterly boring mountain...without waking up Die Yan of course.
