Adam's path, his final attack, was seen by every serpent.
None of them, not even Grita and Torz, were able to capture every moment, to see all the details as it happened too quickly. But, it was obvious to everyone that this attack was going to defeat Arnoth, end his road.
"Fuck... It didn't work?" Grita shuddered, her eyes filling with fear.
Risha gulped. She saw Arnoth and Adam standing against each other. They were talking about something, something important, judging by Adam's reaction, but from this distance, it was impossible to hear them.
"It's..." she stammered. "Adam must have some kind of trump card, right?"
She looked at Grita and Torz but saw only their dark faces. They realized that Arnoth was just now showing his true strength, and Adam had already gone beyond his limits.
The hidden watcher, Hygon, narrowed his eyes.
