Adam stared at the massive piranha at his feet for a moment as he turned to Goen, for whom this was nothing unusual.
"I take it even this piranha can't impress you?" Adam asked.
In response, Goen shrugged.
"I don't want to disappoint you, but it's not uncommon to encounter far more dangerous fish and water monsters here. Although, for the first time, this is more than enough."
Alexia waved her hand.
"I want to try too! I'm sure I can catch more fish than Adam!"
Goen crossed his arms over his chest.
"Go ahead. But don't turn this into a competition. One more fish and that's it. Even though you're my guests, we can't eat that much food."
"Hah!" Alexia chuckled. "You don't know my appetite! But, fine, one try will be enough for me to beat Adam!"
Nothing unexpected happened as Goen explained everything to Alexia just as he had done before with Adam.
She cast the bobber into the water, expecting to catch a real sea king. She wasn't going to settle for anything less.
