Julia softly responded, then found a comfortable position in his arms and slept peacefully, reassured by his presence. Even if their son woke up crying, she didn't have to worry; he had the potential to be a doting dad and could soothe their son.
Outside the villa, Silvia Baxter hadn't left. She got out of her car, leaned against her black Audi, crossed her left arm over her chest, and smoked a cigarette with her right hand. Dressed in men's clothes, she looked every bit a man. She wore a black, straight-fitting suit with a white shirt underneath, a red tie, and black trousers. If it weren't for her lack of an Adam's apple, no one would believe she was a woman. Smoking her cigarette, she occasionally blew out smoke, giving off a slightly rascally vibe.
