Adele had no choice but to walk over and sit down beside the old lady.
No sooner had she sat down than Noah Reyes's eyes seemed to stick to her like glue, his gaze fixed on her, intense and profound.
A bouquet of roses was presented to Adele.
"Adele, these flowers are for you," Gio Coleman said with a smile.
Noah Reyes's hand tightened.
Adele had originally not wanted to accept the roses, but upon seeing Noah Reyes's expression, she deliberately smiled and said, "Thank you, the flowers are beautiful, I like them." Then she took the bouquet.
Noah Reyes's face instantly darkened.
The old lady watched him intently, and he couldn't make any move.
"You should drink your tea," the old lady said again.
This time, Noah Reyes did not hesitate. He picked up the cup of tea, which was as bitter as Coptis, and downed it in one gulp.
