Chapter 8
"Why doesn't Mr. Gregory just buy one directly?"
"Even if you want to make some toys for the kid, you don't have to do it yourself."
"There are all kinds of designs available for sale out there."
"Besides, kids play with toys just for the novelty!"
"You might finish making it, but she won't cherish it. After playing with it a few times, she could toss it in some corner and forget about it."
Nathan Morgan couldn't quite understand. "Mr. Gregory, are you planning to personally build a wooden house?"
"Yes."
He agreed so naturally and calmly.
Nathan became a bit unsettled. "This is so complicated. Why don't I just buy a ready-made one instead?"
The thought of Mr. Gregory investing so much time and effort into this made Nathan feel it was a waste of time, and what concerned him more was whether Mr. Gregory's health could handle it.
Even though this wasn't particularly exhausting physical labor,
it still demanded attention and energy.
