Lucy Greene chuckled self-deprecatingly, "Lucy Greene, you really are pathetic. You know full well he's just using you, so why do you still believe you can change him?"
Maybe she truly can't change him.
As for her birthday, she might as well spend it alone.
After all, it's like this every year. No one ever remembers.

News about the scandalous baby formula factory was everywhere, so Sofia Hamilton naturally heard about it too.
She looked at the newspaper, feeling like the man pictured looked oddly familiar.
Handing the paper to Ryan Gregory, she asked, "Take a look—doesn't this guy look familiar?"
Ryan glanced at it briefly. "Don't know him."
She frowned, studied the picture again, and suddenly remembered what had happened at the hotel that day.
"I figured it out!"
Ryan coughed awkwardly.
He was worried she might start suspecting him.
