Chapter Five
"Might as well starve to death." She pried his hand open and was about to leave.
But just then, he suddenly frowned, his face showing pain, "Ugh, it hurts."
One hand pressed on his chest, the other hurriedly searching for the medicine bottle.
Sofia Hamilton saw this and instantly became tense.
"What's wrong with you?"
"Not feeling well."
"Where are you uncomfortable? Is it chest pain?" She was extremely nervous, "I'll go call the doctor."
As she spoke, she was about to get up and leave.
He suddenly grabbed her hand, "Don't go."
"I'm not leaving, just going to call the doctor over. If it's a sign of rejection, then..."
"If you rub it for me, it won't hurt anymore."
He interrupted her, saying as he took her hand and placed it on his chest.
His gaze was intense and affectionate, almost smiling but not quite.
Looking into his dark eyes, Sofia finally realized that this man was totally tricking her!
Too awful!
"You... you tricked me?"
