Maxwell Peary, with a scowl on his face and dressed impeccably in a suit, appeared particularly out of place on the vast campus. His imposing aura kept the passing students at bay.
"AHEM!"
Maxwell Peary coughed unnaturally, a signal that Bunny should leave this damned place.
Upon hearing this, Nia Mitchell shot Maxwell Peary an embarrassed glare, then turned back to smile at the Principal.
"Principal, Uncle has already eaten. He was just kidding earlier. Is there anything you wanted to discuss with him?"
The Principal remained silent for a long while after Nia spoke. Maxwell Peary made no attempt to answer. Is he trying to embarrass me on purpose?
HUMPH!
The Principal had clearly come to see him, yet she was the one who had to smooth things over.
Isn't this so awkward? How am I supposed to face everyone at school after this? I still have my thesis defense in June...
