Owen Lewis knitted his brows. He tried to call Annie Davidson again, but it simply wouldn't go through.
Knowing her temperament, Owen sighed. She'd probably thrown her phone away again.
Honestly, who did she take him for? Did she really think he only had *that one* phone of hers?
So, just as Annie Davidson got out of the taxi, she heard another phone ringing from inside her bag.
"What do you want?" Annie answered, her voice sharp and her expression icy.
"Stop fooling around," Owen Lewis said, exasperated, his voice tinged with a plea.
Hearing his tone, Annie grew even more furious.
"So, in your eyes, I'm just throwing a tantrum?" Annie yelled, wanting to deal with him even less.
Owen Lewis faltered. When Annie got like this, he was completely stuck.
"Fine, you're not throwing a tantrum. Then tell me, what exactly do you want?"
"Like hell I will!" SLAM! Annie hung up.
