Nia Mitchell didn't know Tara Jameson, so seeing the unfamiliar woman standing there, she simply regarded her as a passerby.
As she continued walking forward, Nia Mitchell had walked several meters before realizing that Charles Northwood wasn't by her side.
So she turned around and saw Charles Northwood standing on the right side of the road, looking at the woman who had stopped on the left side of the road.
Nia Mitchell curiously walked back, glanced at Tara Jameson, then shifted her gaze to Charles Northwood. "What's wrong?"
Something felt off, but she couldn't quite place it.
"Do you know each other?" Nia Mitchell asked.
"No," Charles Northwood replied, then continued walking forward.
