Shirley Grant smiled and patted Gerry Peary's head.
"Okay, Mommy will always be with you. Would you like Mommy to buy breakfast for Gerry Peary?"
While trying to suppress her tears, the hoarseness in her voice couldn't fool anyone.
"Okay."
Watching Gerry Peary's obedient behavior, Shirley Grant stood up and quickly left the ward. She urgently closed the door behind her, and her tears instantly began to fall.
She covered her mouth tightly and squatted down slowly, tears streamed down like rain.
The nurses who passed by kept glancing at her, whispering and pointing.
Gerry Peary wanted to see his father; she couldn't be so selfish.
This burden had weighed on her for so many years, and she was on the verge of a breakdown.
Wiping her tears, she took out her phone and dialed Alan Morgan's number.
BEEP... BEEP... BEEP...
No one answered.
Shirley Grant hesitated for a moment, then pressed the voicemail button.
