Nia Mitchell had never thought he would call her that, especially not at a time like this.
Instantly, her mind filled with scenes of him calling her "wife." The memories flashed by, one after another, making her blush uncontrollably. She clearly remembered he only ever called her his wife during *those* moments, whispering it in her ear just as they were finishing.
"Wife, are we really going to try for a baby?"
His voice held a hint of doubt, a touch of reluctance. Nia *is* too young. At twenty, in the prime of her life, she definitely *shouldn't be* considering things like having children. Every time he looked at her youthful, vibrant self, he felt a pang of guilt.
Hearing Maxwell Peary, Nia immediately threw off the quilt.
"Why are you asking this?"
Although she hadn't wanted a child so young before, she didn't feel that way anymore. Having Maxwell's child now seemed like a wonderful thing.
