Maxwell Peary followed her to the Dining Hall and took his place. He wasn't sure what to do, seeing her still in a huff.
The ambiance in the Dining Hall quickly became much more solemn, falling into silence.
Frederick Goldsmith, carrying a bowl of porridge, immediately sensed this. What happened? he wondered. Weren't they fine just a while ago? Why does it suddenly seem off?
"Young Madam, your porridge."
Frederick Goldsmith placed the porridge in front of Nia Mitchell, breaking the silence in the Dining Hall.
"Mmm," Nia Mitchell replied, grabbing a spoon and stirring the porridge back and forth.
After a while, Nia bit her lip. "Alright, I'll just eat a bit. After all, you've already thrown it away." Facing the facts, even if she was unwilling, what could she do? Was she supposed to pick up the cotton candy from the trash can?
Maxwell glanced at her. After she finished speaking, he picked up his chopsticks and began to eat his dinner.
