He had already heard.
"Stay at home and don't go anywhere, I'll be back immediately."
After hanging up the phone hastily, Maxwell Peary got in the car and left.
Seeing his car, Maxwell furrowed his brows slightly.
He called Alan Morgan to bring out another car, and then they met up to swap cars.
He didn't want Nia Mitchell to see his battered car; she would definitely worry and ask all sorts of questions.
"No problem."
Alan responded and chose a car from the garage to drive.
Soon, they exchanged cars near the hillside villa, and Maxwell Peary hummed as he returned home.
Opening the grand gate, he saw Nia Mitchell running over, and she jumped, hanging onto him.
"Uncle."
She called out clingingly, wrapping her arms tightly around his neck.
