"Don't worry, I won't touch your woman." Kenton Maverick reached over to pat his shoulder, "Come on, the partners are still waiting for us!"
Kris Cooper walked out of the office with him, "How are you handling Maggie Clarke?"
"Full-scale shutdown, completely shelved, satisfied?" Kenton Maverick asked.
Kris Cooper took a deep breath, "At least you know what's up."
Kenton Maverick slightly curled his lips, "The company spent tens of millions signing her, you gonna compensate me?"
Kris Cooper looked indifferent, "Who told you to sign such garbage."
Kenton Maverick just laughed; such a minor role, he couldn't care less.
Their friendship surpassed brotherhood, there was no need for Kris Cooper to say anything; Maggie Clarke would have no chance for a comeback.
