"The lines aren't supposed to be like this, right?" Vera reached out to take the script from Kris Cooper's hand, flipping to the page she had just looked at, "I knew it…"
Kris Cooper watched her serious little expression with amusement, "How should the lines go?"
Pointing with her finger at the script in hand, Vera read out the lines, "Tonight, I've got serious business to take care of, but once I'm done, I'll take care of you."
Kris Cooper frowned, "And then?"
"Then, the second female lead senses that the male lead is part of the underground, so she goes all out to seduce and test him, but in the end, despite forcing herself on him, she misses the mark…" She suddenly chuckled, "So, that means I'll have to go after Logan Miles, haha…"
In truth, as the second female lead in this play, the only intimate scene she's involved in, anyhow, it wasn't real intimacy. Vera just thought it was fun.
She found it amusing, but someone else was already feeling very jealous.
