Hand in hand, their fingers laced together, under the sunlight, the wedding ring on his ring finger shone brilliantly.
"I've asked Tommy Taylor to prepare a certificate of singlehood for me..." His voice, muffled yet clearly discernible, reached her ears as he whispered into them while kissing her. "Once the document is in order, we can get married!"
