Putting on his pants, taking a new shirt from the wardrobe and putting it on, Kris Cooper turned and smiled at her.
"Not too bad, huh?"
The person who was secretly peeking immediately blushed and quickly looked away from him.
"I... I wasn't looking at you, I... I was just looking at the cabinet."
Casually buttoning up two buttons and rolling up both sleeves to the elbows, Kris Cooper turned and walked to the bed, reaching out to gently rub her fingers.
"I'll let you look all you want next time, but for now I'll go check if dinner's here."
Kris Cooper walked to the door and closed it tightly. Vera Wave subtly tilted her head, watching him shut the door, finally sighed in relief and relaxed on the pillow, still with confusion on her face.
Both doing the same thing, it was clearly him doing the work, but how come in the end, he looked full of energy like he was on chicken blood, while she was exhausted?
