"Alright," Vera laughed, looking at her approaching floor. She turned her face towards him and playfully bit his chin before scurrying out of the elevator, giggling, "Husband, bye-bye!"
"Be careful!"
Seeing her hasty departure, he couldn't help but chuckle in amusement and helplessness.

When Vera entered the Planning Department, all of her colleagues were already there. Merlin Bradley lifted her head from her Partition Room and followed Vera into the office.
"Your phone wouldn't stop ringing, so I turned it off for you."
She had been hurriedly taken away by Kris Cooper the day before and had forgotten her phone. Since her phone had Kris Cooper's app installed, it kept ringing, so Merlin had to turn it off.
"Thanks a lot!"
Vera pulled out her bag from the cabinet and turned on her phone.
