The sky was still raining, sweeping across and pouring down. It smashed onto the blossoming cherry blossoms, drummed against the newly unfurled leaves, and pelted Kris Cooper's body and face.
Soon, his short hair was drenched by the rain, hanging down wetly, sticking to his forehead.
He paid no mind to this, simply dashing quickly down the stairs.
"Vera... you damn brat! Get out here right now! Hiding from me, are you? Don't let me find you!"

After mistaking another person for her grandmother again, Vera Wave, panting, stopped and crouched down, clutching her cramping stomach.
Last night, she'd stuffed herself with beef and hadn't eaten anything since. Now, her stomach was incredibly sour, and it felt as though something was about to surge up. She hunched over and retched a few times, but nothing came out.
"Vera!" Nathan Leafcastle held an umbrella for her, reaching out a hand to lightly pat her back. "Are you okay?"
