"No." Ivana Bennett spread her hands, "I went to the matchmaking seriously."
"As if!"
Logan Bennett didn't even glance at Byron Hallock, he was too lazy to even glare at him.
Fathers know their sons well, someone like Byron Hallock going for a proper matchmaking, he knows without thinking that's impossible.
Seeing his father seeing through him, Byron Hallock just gave a mischievous grin.
"At least the last attempt was serious, I wore a suit and tie, my mom even accompanied me personally, but... the person didn't show up at all, just left me a note saying she wasn't interested, that's no joke."
Logan Bennett laughed, reached over to hold his son's shoulders like a buddy, squeezing his shoulder with his big hand.
"Don't be mad at your mom, next time she asks you to go matchmaking, just humor her a bit, you know what she's like, though she's already mature, her mind is still like a little girl!"
